Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An outstanding & well run Hotel that puts the guest experience as No 1 priority. Immaculate presentation throughout with very comfortable rooms & breakfasts that are on a different level to most establishments. Fantastic location & a great base to explore this part of Cornwall. Great bus & train links. Thank you Arnaud & Fiona, we will most certainly return .

Immaculate rooms, clean, bright, cheery. Excellent bed and pillows. Plenty of spaces to put things away in the room. Breakfast was excellent, with many homemade items. Our hosts could not be more welcoming and attentive. We’ve been traveling for six weeks throughout the UK, and this was by far our favorite lodging experience.

A delightful hotel conveniently placed for town and promenade. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable rooms. The breakfasts are delicious with homemade fruit yoghurt and muesli. Cooked choices are immense. An enjoyable stay…we’ve returned 5 times and it’s great each time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Seas and would definitely recommend the hotel to others. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was beautifully refurbished to a very high standard. The breakfast was extensive and everything we tried was delicious. We felt welcomed and would like to return in the future. Look no further.

Just returned from our 12th (I think!) annual stay at Blue Seas and it definitely deserves the No.1 spot for B & Bs in Penzance. Fiona and Arnaud are perfect hosts, always helpful, friendly and welcoming - with a delicious cream tea on arrival. As always, everywhere is spotlessly clean, the rooms very well equipped (including robes, bottled water and Arnaud's homemade biscuits) the beds are so comfortable too. Breakfasts are something else - a huge buffet and menu selection, all beautifully prepared. We have already booked for next year !

I know this is saying a lot but it is hard to overstate just how excellent this guesthouse run by Fiona Arnaud is. We choose it because of the incredible reviews we read on Tripadvsor and it turned out they were all justifed. A warm welcome awaits in a place full of charm and distinctiveness in a location metres from the promenade and within short walking distance of a range of very good eating places. The place is spotless and there is an outstanding attention to detail. Arnaud's breakfasts in terms of choice and quality beat anything I have eaten in deluxe hotels. The best scrambled egg and smoked salmon I've ever eaten ... and I am 69! The best porridge, hot pancakes, and haddock you would die for. The quality of the traeditional English breakfast a given. Fiona made sure that our individually furnished room at the front of the house overlooking an enchanting garden was freshly made up each of the 10 days we stayed. And she has an encylopaedic knowledge of all the local attractions and made sure our arrangements to visit the Isles of Scilly were in order. We werev blessed with good weather but I have a feeling Fiona and Arnaud are excellent hostsv rain or shine. We' would love to return.,

This is a beautiful hotel. We have stayed there twice now on our holiday from Australia. The hosts are delightful. The place is immaculate and the breakfasts are yummy. It is situated within walking distance of the rail station and has lovely views. It has a lot of character and a lovely front garden where on arrival we were greeted by Arnaud and Fiona with freshly baked scones and a cuppa. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Blue Seas if you are holidaying in Cornwall or Devon. Ian and Marilyn from Australia x
