Lovely large clean, tastefully decorated, family room with views across to the sea. The breakfast was excellent with a large choice. Claire and her husband could not have done any else to make our stay more comfortable. I hate to say any negatives as it is not the fault of the lodge, but if you are of a larger frame, you may find the en-suite a little cramped, especially the shower. However saying this, book again, should we be in the area.

Been meaning to leave a review but was locked out of my account! Stayed here last year for a few nights the owners are lovely and breakfast was 10/10. The room we stayed in was the family room I think, very comfortable, comfy beds. You can see the owners pay attention to details with things like the little bottles of fresh milk on the landing to have tea/coffee in the morning for example. Would definitely stay again if I'm in the area.

Clare and Kevin are the perfect hosts and very accommodating and we got on so well. We stayed a week at Bay Lodge in the Family room and it had everything you need. The location is perfect and very near to supermarkets and walking distance to Penzance town. Kevin cooks a mean Full English breakfast and he cooked a lovely evening meal for us. Look out for his Tomato & basil soup, Whitebait, Seabass & potatoes & broccoli and Seafood Risotto. All prepared with precision and his love for cooking.

Bay Lodge is Superb hotel, Clare & Kevin are great hosts, and I was made to feel very welcome. The hotel is spotless and a 5 to 6 minute walk to the edge of town or the harbourside. The breakfasts were delicious, a good choice and and it proved an ideal stay. My room even had a small balcony giving views of st michaels mount in the distnace. would highly recomend
