My friend and I have stayed at the Watchers on several occasions for an annual holiday in Polperro. We have always received the warmest of welcomes from Mr and Mrs Wilcox who could not be more considerate. They are a delightful couple with a great sense of humour and who always go the extra mile to please their guests. We...

My boyfriend and I stayed here on our last night of our holiday. Having saved for the night and after paying £50 deposit we did not get what we wanted. I rang the night before our arrival to let them know what time we'd be coming the next day and they said it was all fine. When i rang when...

We booked this B&B to celebrate a special anniversary - the location and B&B were recommedned by friends. Both lived up to our expectations. The village is quite simply stunning. The owner of the B&B had explained that we would have to walk from the car park to the B&B but there is a tram available - this was exactly...

We have read with incredulity the previous reviews, anyone considering a stay at 'The Watchers', we suggest you ignore the critical two. We are regular visitors to this wonderful b&b and have always received such a warm welcome from both John and Patsy. The location is spectacular, the rooms are always freshly decorated and spotless, the service and food first...

We first visited The Watchers in 2001, Patsy and John's hospitality have been brilliant each time we've returned. Our first and subsequent visits have been made special by a friendly Cornish welcome, a nice cup of tea on the veranda, a welcome refreshment after the walk from the car park at the top of the village. Breakfast overlooking the harbour,...

Unfortunately we also shared some of the experiences of the first reviewer. My husband booked this as a treat for my 40th birthday. We have a young daughter so it was rare opportunity to get away and relax. We are also quiet normal working people who enjoy a relaxed time but we are not late night revellers. We had the...

I booked this B&B because of the location- it is perched on a cliff overlooking the charming Cornish village of Polperro. Upon arrival the owner asked us for a breakfast order, which was written on a chalkboard. At that time, I asked her for a bucket of ice to chill a bottle of champagne that we had brought. Her reaction...
