Polperro‘s working harbour supports a small fishing fleet, while the sheltered waters beyond the harbour provide a temporary haven for visiting yachts. Polperro is one of the most picturesque coastal villages in Cornwall with its deep sided valleys and a myriad of colour washed cottages. The River Pol runs centrally down through the village straddled by a variety of bridges and cottages. Beautiful Polperro with its interesting shops, art gallery, pubs and restaurants is ideally situated as a starting point for exploring the whole of Cornwall. Close to home, the surrounding coastal towns of Fowey and Looe and attractions such as Eden Project, with its huge tropical ‘biome’ glass houses, or the amazing ‘Lost Gardens of Heligan’ are just waiting to be explored. There are several National Trust locations in Cornwall. Lanhydrock House and Antony House for example offer great days out. Of course, for the hikers amongst you, there are miles of stunning coastal paths to explore!

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had a lovely 2 night stay at Natal House. Jacquie & Simon are the perfect, friendly hosts. So clean & the bed linen was lovely & fresh too. Really generous breakfast - I felt like I could live there, if they wanted to rent out a room! Hopefully I’ll be back one day - thanks Jacquie & Simon.

This is our second stay with Simon and Jackie and once again we were welcomed in such a friendly manner we thought we were at home. Such a wonderful stay and an outstanding breakfast cooked fresh each morning. The rooms are very stylish and comfortable. Car parking for all clients, which is very convenient in Polperro. Simon and Jackie are so knowledgeable that you don't need a travel guide. Such a beautiful village full of character and many lovely walks. Thanks to both Simon and Jackie we are sure we will be back again.

Wow! The best place we have ever stayed! The first thing you see on entering the front door is a sign ‘Welcome to our home’ and you immediately feel like part of a family. Jackie and Simon are the perfect hosts. Welcoming, friendly, kind, full of helpful suggestions, knowledgeable about Polperro and the community. We could have stayed for longer and were really sorry to leave. They epitomise Polperro. We were only there for a long weekend but felt such a part of the community and it all started with Jackie and Simon. I have to confess that Simon is a very good cook and the breakfasts were superb. They really set us up for the day. We fully intend to return and witness Simon performing either at The Blue Peter or hosting open mic night at the Legion.

We stayed at Natal House B&B last week for 8 nights. We stayed in the Teal Room which is on the first floor at the front of the property. Our room was spotlessly clean and spacious; the pillows and sheets are of good quality, and we had nice fluffy white towels in the bathroom. Jackie and Simon, our hosts are a genuinely lovely couple. They gave us lots of advice about the village and places to visit, pubs and restaurants to go to and literally went out of their way to help us! There is on-site parking at the B&B which is important to us. The breakfast each morning was tasty and generously portioned and perfectly cooked. We would certainly recommend a stay in this lovely B&B in Polperro.

We found Natal House really comfortable. Free parking. Lovely breakfast. The bed was really comfortable and we had 3 great nights sleep. Lovely and clean, welcoming and friendly hosts. When we are next in Polperro we would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

A fantastic B&B. Hosts Simon and Jackie are the loveliest couple you could wish to meet and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean and serviced to the same high standard each day. Breakfast is divine with a comprehensive choice of quality ingredients. Natal House has on site parking which in Polperro is a huge bonus. I think it would be hard to find a better B&B when staying in Polperro. Thank you Jackie and Simon we simply had the best time!

We had a lovely stay. Simon and Jackie were great hosts. Stayed in the Teal Room which was spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was superb and set us up nicely for the day. Parking was a bonus. Would not hesitate to stay again if we were in Cornwall.

Just spent four lovely nights at Natal House. Simon and Jackie are perfect hosts, very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. The room was extremely comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was delicious, very well cooked with plenty of choice. In a very convenient location just a few minutes walk from the harbour and car parking which is a massive plus in Polperro. We would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely B & B and if we are in the area would most definitely stay again.

Absolutely superb Bed & Breakfast accommodation. Room very spacious with a large comfortable bed, comfy sofa, and a spotless bathroom with a super shower. We had a very friendly welcome from the owners, Jackie and Simon. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choice. Parking available on site which is a great plus. All in all we had a most enjoyable visit and if we return to Polperro with definitely stay at Natal House.

Absolutely spotless room with a very comfy bed and large ensuite. Superb cooked breakfast with other choices. Good coffee too. Simon and Jackie are very friendly and knowledgeable and go that extra mile to make your stay a pleasure. Parking onsite which is a big plus for Polperro. Shower could have been a little more powerful but it was ok. Felt the price was reasonable for me as a singleton. Plenty of eating places in Polperro, though Looe not far. Also a good bus service during the day.
