So we actually stayed up the road from this place but we chose this for dinner as all three of us are very fussy eaters! I went online and saw that they had a wide choice of food for everyone, however I didn't read that this a seasonal menu and not everything was on the menu at the same time....

Ok so I stayed at the slipway for 3 nights in March I had visited port issac before as a kid so I knew what it was like...It's not a movie set for Dr Martin it's a very old fishing village unchanged by modern times! This is why I chose to stay here, the roads are challenging even by Cornish standards...

Adequate stay but grossly overpriced. Could not believe no scones or cake available for afternoon tea, had to offer to sell them some of the homemade cake we brought with us. Don't go unless you have a special offer as the other pub in the village was much more welcoming.

Arrived mid afternoon, it was explained that we could unload the car and then show us to our room, nice Room (14), clean tidy, modern & fresh. It was explained where we could park, (we were aware this was the case, having visiting Port Isaac previously) which is quite some way off. It cost £2.70 for 24 hours. When booking...

Quirky small rooms but adequate and very clean, fab food good service and very friendly staff a very enjoyable stay. We would certainly return with a groupon deal and we would recommend others to at least try it.

We had diner at the restaurant, very delicious food indeed. Breakfast was plentiful and arrived within minutes of placing order. Just back from a mini-break at the Slipway Hotel in Port Isaac. Lovely position, just a few metres from the shore and two minutes from 'the doctor's house' in Doc Martin. The accommodation was faultless, very clean and recently decorated. The bed was supremely comfortable. The food (dinners and breakfasts) was divine, the seafood pancakes to die for! All the...

We stayed on a discount voucher visit and found it excellent value. The location by the lifeboat station was very good; the downside is that the car parking is at the top of the village and while the walk down is OK that going back is a little tedious. The bedroom was small, tidy and entirely adequate while its bathroom...

We used the Slipway as a base to explore the area and face the dreaded Xmas shopping. A warm friendly welcome, comfortable room and guest lounge and a really tasty meal. The overall atmosphere of the place was really a treat to come back to and all praise to the hardworking staff who always treated us with a smile. On...
