The hotel is fabulous historical building with lots of character and friendly staff but that's where the positives stop. The rooms are very tired and the showers very difficult to control and a long wait to get hot water through. The hotel is a Christian hotel and felt very safe as a woman on my own but it does have...

We enjoyed our stay here the staff were lovely and eager to help . Breakfast was lovely. Only problem was lack of hot water and heating. But other than that it was a great stay. Walking distance to the harbour and beach but just enough out of the way of the hustle and bustle.

Staff was not helpful at all... Lots of flies in the room, We were given a couple of rooms which were the farthest from main entrance and located right above their garbage place(I'm pretty sure that there were plenty of unoccupied rooms as we stayed out of season). No elevator and we had our grandma with us who struggled very...

Disappointing approach as the drive is in desperate need of repairs. Waited ages for a response to pushing the reception bell and the person who arrived walked straight past without speaking. Eventually she looked up and asked if we wanted to check in. Her manor was unwelcoming and abrupt. However the building is very impressive and set in beautiful grounds....

I stayed here on my own for one night. I was looking for somewhere cheap and was not expecting much for my £31.50. I was pleasantly surprised! I had a reasonably sized single room. My window overlooked the bay and I sat beside my window and saw a fantastic sunset and sunrise. The staff were helpful (although didn't volunteer information...

Treloyhan Manor Hotel is a stately building set in a gorgeous park, which on he edges gets more like a forest. It's situated a little bit outside St. Ives - which gives the advantage of a generous parking space. Into the village, it is a pleasant 15-20 minutes' walk along a footpath, well sheltered from the traffic. We stayed one...

I think some of the reviews for this hotel are a bit unfair. I agree that some of the decor is not the most modern but the coffee lounge is nice and the dining room welcoming. I found all the staff to be extremely friendly and efficient. We had a superior en suite room (with bath and shower) that was...

I booked a non-en-suite room which was cheap in price. I knew therefore that I would have to use shared facilities which were nearby to my room and that was adequate for a solo traveller staying just one night with little luggage However, I would suggest that the hotel does need to upgrade as having en-suite facilities throughout would enhance...

The interior of the place is utilitarian at best. We had a twin room and the beds were as narrow as cots. There was a fire alarm at 11:30 at night. We ate there due to rain and it was ok at best. Not one we would return to.

OK so I think our reaction as a couple to this hotel could be representative of travellers in general. Neither of us had an issue with the hotel being run by the Christian Guild. Every business is run by people and people have beliefs although yes I would have been miffed if I hadn't known this ahead of our trip....
