Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We've camped here on three occasions as a couple, and it's been a lovely experience every time. It's a beautiful, well kept campsite with large designated pitches and friendly staff. Here are our favourite things about it: - Modern facilities. Very clean toilets and showers in spacious private cubicles, with many available. Freezer available for storing ice packs. - Entertainment. Big games room with a pool table, table tennis and table football. Large playing field and park. - Small shop with essentials, some food and baked goods available, although no vegan options for anyone wondering. - There are separate zones for people with dogs and without dogs. Great for people who are scared of or not keen on dogs, as well as great for dog owners who are able let their dog run around the dog park. - We had a yellow weather warning for strong winds and heavy rain on one day. The staff put up notices to share this news with everyone, and came round to offer help and advice where they could. - There are beautiful sea views straight from the campsite, and it's only a short drive into St.Ives. There's even a bus that goes straight from the campsite. - Pizza van (sometimes). The last couple of times we've been, Flour Power pizza have visited the campsite once a week in summer with delicious food. Looking forward to visiting again in the future!

We have visited this particular site on more occasions that we can remember, this was the second time this year. As all the other reviews have commented, the site is immaculate. The bathroom, washing up and laundry facilities are faultlessly clean with every comfort available to their clients. There is a bus service which is very regular, hourly in the peak season, into and back from St Ives, which is a fantastic service allowing holidaymakers from the site access into town, without having to be concerned about parking. The site is very well kept by the wardens who work there and they return year after year, which has built an efficient and good spirited team who are great with people staying on the site. We would without a single doubt, recommend this site to anyone who values cleanliness, comfort, a great welcome, peace and spectacular views for their holiday.

My dog Red and I had a brilliant time at this campsite. The site was very clean, flat and the conveniences were second to none. But what really made it were the staff. It didn't matter which member of staff you spoke to they were all brilliant. It was very windy one night 50mph+ winds and my campervan is very light but they found a pitch that was more sheltered for me. This was going above and beyond their duty. So I say a bigh thank you.

The pitches are very spacious and well maintained. The wardens are always going around doing general maintainance, grass cutting, hedge trimming etc. And are very friendly and helpful. All areas are very clean, the paths etc and the toilet block is immaculate. Would highly recommend Trevalgan for a relaxing break.

Amazing campsite! Well spaced out pitches, grounds are immaculately kept along with the facilities on site. Everything is super clean and tidy. The site is very well kitted out with a big shower and toilet block, games room, on site laundry and a little shop for any essentials. Staff were incredibly friendly too, we will definitely recommend this site and return next year.

Very clean, organised campsite with great facilities and friendly staff. Really appreciated the bus service going in and out of St Ives to avoid driving in, although it was also a very pleasant walk from the campsite into St Ives.

Our first time as guests at this site. We stayed for three days with our two dogs towards the end of the season. We were met by very friendly, welcoming staff and given a lovely pitch for our VW camper. The site is beautiful with excellent, spotlessly clean facilities. The dog park is a great idea. The surrounding area is stunning with amazing beaches and great places to walk to. The childrens play area looks incredible. We met the very friendly owners and had a chat with all the hard working, lovely staff. We were lucky with the weather, and the sunny skies added to what was a great stay. The site is a credit to all the people who work so hard to keep it looking so good.

From start to finish, the interactions with Trevalgan staff were highly professional. The website allowed us to book very quickly & efficiently, choosing our preferred pitch. Thereafter, pre-arrival information was excellent, in the form of emails & a downloadable, interactive document. We were greeted on arrival by very friendly, helpful staff & that was our experience throughout our 5 day stay. The site facilities were second to none - the toulets and showers are constantly cleaned, modern & efficient. The shop has excellent stock, albeit we didn’t try the pre-ordered home baking. The best site we’ve ever stayed at & can’t wait to return!
