Sue and Mike hosted us for three nights at their wonderful bed and breakfast. We stayed in room 2, with a super king bed, and a second bedroom that we used for storage (has bunk beds for kids). Breakfast was very good too. Their place is in a quiet area but only 10 minutes from town!

Property's Favourite Review
We are not typically great at getting round to writing reviews but the fact that we hadn't yet written one for our wonderful stay at No4 back in April has been weighing heavy and so it feels good to finally right that wrong. We stayed at No4 as part of our South West coast path walking tour and immediately knew on arrival that we had booked the best place in St Ives - Sue made us feel so welcome even though we arrived somewhat weary and dishevelled. The room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean with everything we could need for our stay. Breakfast was AMAZING! (Thank you Mike) We were so impressed we ended up staying an extra night. Sue & Mike you both work so hard and clearly love what you do. You deserve the great reviews you get on here.

An excellent location and great sue and Mike make you very welcome, breakfast is fantastic and sets you up for the day, facilities at the B&B are very homely and nothing is to much trouble looking forward to a return visit in the future thank you both very much great hosts.

Great B&B run by lovely owners. Ideal quiet location but only a few minutes walk into the town and down to the beach. Off road parking was a big bonus. Breakfast choice excellent and the full English I can recommend made with real quality ingredients. The place is really clean, inviting and has a great homely feel. Our room was spotlessly clean, and had a very fancy balcony in the roof that I was really impressed with. The sea views we had were very special. Our first visit to St Ives and I'd heard how unspoilt it was. This was so true and if we ever decide to return (likely) I'd feel pretty disappointed if we couldn't get in at No4.

Had a Fab stay, Beautiful room, great hosts, stayed for 3 nights in June, Sue And Mike are so friendly and welcoming and knowledgable, rooms well stocked bottled water replenished daily, guest lounge with fridge for guest to use and fresh milk, and the Breakfast was Delicious good quailty produce, overall a fab time, Thankyou Mandy And Mark

OMG! Amazeballs.. was fantastic from arrival, to departure. We were early arriving, and welcomed with open arms. Everything explained, ref our stay, location, local attractions, restaurants etc… Our rooms were beautifully presented, and decorated. Fluffy white towels and super clean bedding, etc.. Complimentary Elemis toiletries available and a daily top up option, on bottles water, tea, coffee, etc.. all inclusive of price. We had on site parking with our rooms, but the public car park is just minutes away, if we didn’t and this was also included in the price. Fresh, locally sourced breakfast was perfect! And lots of choice from cereals, toast, fresh fruit and hot food.. Mike and Sue, were perfect hosts, so friendly and genuinely nice. They always made time to chat about our local experiences and ensured we were having a good time. Would definitely return, and have already recommended this lovely B&B to family and friends. …

This was our first time at No.4 and it didn't disappoint. Very nice interior and lovely bedrooms with fluffy towels, Elemis bath/shower products, tea and coffee-making facilities, a tower fan, hairdryer, a wall mounted flat screen TV and super fast wifi. There were multiple choices for breakfast, all freshly cooked by Mike with locally sourced produce. The big plus point was that they have a guest lounge/bathroom where you can store your luggage, make a drink and freshen up before catching your train home. We had a 7 hour wait after check-out for our train and it was a great comfort knowing we wouldn't be booted out after check-out and having to trudge around St Ives with our luggage! Sue and Mike were great hosts and we will definitely return. There is also an open top bus (also inside seating) that travels the coastline and takes about 1.5-2 hours, terminating at Penzance, and then travels back in the opposite direction. If you have a Bus Travel Disability pass in England (not Wales) you can travel with your pass, which will save you £7.50 for the day or both of you if you have a Companion pass which is worth knowing. …

Excellent small hotel. Sue and Mike go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Lovely rooms, spotless and with fantastic views of St Ives and the whole bay. It is very rare these days to find something that you feel is good value for money. But No 4 is well worth every penny. It is the little touches, like a fridge in the guest lounge, fresh milk, bottles of water and good quality tea bags that make the difference. Excellent parking arrangements in a town renowned to be difficult to park. Breakfast is always excellent quality with a good choice and high quality ingredients. Fresh fruit salad every day and not made with cheaper ingredients! Lovely. Five minute walk to all the local restaurants. Try By the Sea, Cellar Bistro and the Seafood Cafe. Just returned from a wonderful few nights at this gorgeous b&b! The owners, Sue and Mike were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the local area, including tips on the best restaurants and how to get around St Ives. Our room was decorated beautifully and stylishly and was spotlessly clean with a lovely bathroom and powerful shower. The attention to detail was exquisite with luxury bathroom toiletries and a full tea and coffee tray with free bottled water. The breakfast was amazing with a vast choice, including Eggs Benedict and smoked salmon as well as a lovely full English! All freshly cooked perfectly and to order by Mike. We would recommend this lovely place to anyone and definitely hope to return at some point.
