South-facing Victorian granite terrace overlooking St. Ives Town and bay. Rooms are let on a room only basis and are equipped with kettle, toaster, fridge and tea and coffee. Shops and restaurants are only three minutes away and the beaches not much further. We have two double rooms, one fully en-suite, the other with ensuite shower room, and a self-catering apartment which will sleep four. Some parking is available.

Had a wonderful week in this well appointed spacious self catering accommodation. Roy Liu is a thoughtful and generous host, and extremely helpful. The room upstairs is open plan and consists of the kitchen/dining area and sitting room. The kitchen/dining area has all you need - gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge with ice box, kettle, dishwasher and washing machine. The living room area has a large comfortable L shaped sofa and television. Downstairs the bedroom has a large double bed, the bathroom has a bath and separate shower. There is WiFi. Also, the accommodation boasts an of road parking space. Windsor Hill is very steep, so the turn-off into the parking area has to be managed carefully. The accommodation is very close to the beaches, shops, pubs, restaurants and art galleries of St Ives. All in all, we had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.…

My husband and I stayed at No8 for 3 nights and it couldn't have been better. Roy is the perfect host and the room we stayed in exceeded our expectations. The view is amazing. We happily whiled the time away drinking tea or wine looking out. Binoculars provided too. The bed was so comfy, the room spacious and the ensuite great. The room also has toaster, kettle and enough cutlery and crockery for your own breakfast, cleaned everyday by Roy and a small silent fridge. You will not be disappointed if you book a stay here.

What a delightful place to stay in St Ives! We stayed for 3 nights in the double room with sea view and would have happily stayed for longer. We were given a very warm welcome by Roy and his wife and were immediately made to feel at home. The house is so interesting and full of pieces of original artwork. The room has everything you need, down to shampoo, perfume, cutlery ,crockery and milk in the truly silent fridge. The car parking space was a real bonus and we didn’t need to move the car as we simply enjoyed walking everywhere. Roy kindly gave us live directions over the phone on our arrival as we had got lost. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes in St Ives which we walked to. We hope we are now more fit after going up and down the hills. The icing on the cake was the free use of the Tate card which we used multiple times to visit both the Tate gallery and the Hepworth museum which were wonderful. We also walked up to the Leach pottery which was well worth the effort and very interesting. The position of the house on the hill with a sea view is amazing. After a day exploring it was lovely to return to the room and sit in the cosy chairs with a glass of wine and watch the sea or read a book. What more could you want? Thank you both. …

This is our third stay with Roy, Hilary and their cute little dog. However, our first in the loft which is self catering. Each time has been a great success and we would book here every time we visit St.Ives but it isn't always available for our dates. They're lovely, friendly and helpful without being at all intrusive. The accommodation is clean, fully equipped, quirky and very tasteful. I loved the bathroom with a deep bath and all the very thoughtful hooks where you can hang towels etc... The bedroom is dark if required and shut off so its a very restful nights sleep. In the other accommodation I remember a beautiful bay window with chairs and a little table where you can breakfast overlooking magnificent views. I would rate this very very highly and we holiday 4 or 5 times yearly in U.K. and abroad.…

Just returned from a two night stay here. It's an ideal location just a few minutes walk to the centre of town and 10 minutes walk to Porthmeor Beach. Very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Will definitely stay again.

Our week long stay was perfect and we wish we'd stayed longer. Roy was extremely friendly and helpful - he lent us things we'd forgotten and gave us access to a wealth of DVDs to watch whilst still giving us the independence and privacy of a self-contained holiday home. There was a separate entrance from the main house so we could hose down our wetsuits and store our body boards out of the way, and with both the beach and harbour so close this was a real necessity. It was also great to have a parking space available to us for our whole stay as this really is needed in St Ives and many other apartments in the same price range lack this. We loved the location as it gave wonderful views whilst walking into town each day. Thanks for the great stay!

We had an excellent stay. Fabulous location and wonderful host. A short walk to the centre of st Ives and stunning coastal walks. Perfect base to explore St Ives. A small but perfectly formed apartment that had ample space for two people. Fully equipped kitchen and lovely comfy beds.

We had a fantastic stay at Roy and Vickie's. The room was very clean, spacious and had fantastic views of the sea. The en suite bathroom had a brilliant deep bath and was spotless! Roy and Vickie are such friendly hosts we will definitely be back later in the year.

We've just stayed for a few days at No. 8 and loved it. Our room was so tastefully decorated, gorgeous rugs, antique furniture and lovely thoughtful touches; hooks where you need them, loads of clothes wooden coat hangers, a fridge that really does chill stuff, and really comfy beds. As for the owners, they are the perfect combination of laid back, mega efficient and can't do enough for you. We'd really recommend this perfect gem in St Ives.
