What is Certificate of Excellence?
TripAdvisor gives a Certificate of Excellence to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travellers.
Just drop by for drinks one evening, staff friendly, service was excellent. Great atmosphere and location looking over St Mawes bay. Although we did not eat food look good and we were very tempted but unfortunately they were fully booked.
We didn't actually stay in the hotel accommodation (although hope to do so in the future), but used the hotel cafe / bar / restaurant as a second home while training for our transatlantic row (Atlantic Albatross, Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge 2018)

It really is smart casual. No need for jacket and tie at all, though you would not look out of pkace in one. Open collar shirt or tennis shirt and jeans was absolutely fine.
