The old American sailing club has been turned into maybe the best coastal boutique hotel in Cornwall. It feels like a home. Stylish and elegant. Brilliant terrace with beautiful bay views. Quirky details such as the dog bar and other hidden delights make this place really special. Dog friendly. An ideal holiday destination hotel.

There is a three course set menu which includes a glass of wine for £27 or thereabouts. You can eat this in the elegant restaurant with lovely sea views or more casually in the welcoming lounge with a blazing log fire. One took the set three courses and the other two courses but took a starter from the carte. This...

Having stayed at the Tresanton many times since it opened, my opinion remains the same; there is no competitor in St Mawes, perhaps even in the whole Roseland Peninsula. The friendly staff seem to genuinely care about your wellbeing and the enjoyment of your stay, which is a nice change from the surly, disinterested behaviour of staff of many establishments...

Our third Christmas in this beautiful hotel. A Christmas present from my lovely daughter. From the view to the decoration the staff and the food all blissfully wonderful. My daughter is a vegan and there was no problem for them. All the staff are exceptional but I have to say that Anna is star of the show... Absolutely charming in...

We stayed back in the summer and I have just found the photograph I took of my wife's breakfast which she would not complain about. I certainly would have. Shame it is a wonderful hotel. gwcfo78eft87f q7tb8qf by89fc8y9cfqy8nxfqgnngfxiyxnzzmnf7xobdibxsnzm9nx8pds7b foxnu9[smsxnp8d7ocfd7xwnpqz[9nuxwdo7fcd7obxwsnpzqwx8bod7fixobwnzsqpwxbo7vid6xbowznpqt

We went for a long weekend in October, St Mawes is lovely and the location of the hotel is great. Overall we enjoyed it and the hotel is very relaxing and welcoming. I am not sure if it is good value though, at well in excess of £300 per night (B&B) it is definitely at the luxury end of the...

Our second visit to the Tresanton and it was every bit as good as the first. The staff are first-rate: friendly, helpful and professional. The restaurant and bar are both excellent, and almost everything that comes out of the kitchen is very good indeed. The rooms are smart and comfortable. The large sitting room on the ground floor has charm,...

We're here at Hotel Tresanton in Cornwall playing wall to wall bridge with Paul Mendelson our superb bridge teacher. We come every year for the week. This Olga Polizzi hotel is very stylish and the food and service are simply fantastic. Luxury rooms with a panoramic view of the view of the sea. Very beautiful.

Hotel Tresanton was the chosen location for our Wedding evening drinks and dinner, as we were only a small party of 9. We also stayed the night in Room 6. Where do I start.... because it was all so amazing! Firstly, although we did not actually get married at the Tresanton the wedding co-ordinator Leila could not have been any...

Called in on Friday afternoon for tea whilst awaiting to check in to our holiday home. The welcome at reception was cool to say the least and after being directed to the lounge we waited some 20 minutes for our order to be taken. Tea and coffee were okay but we didn't return for tea the next day finding the...
