Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Site under NEW owners and they do not run the Instagram or Facebook page yet. It's a Really good camp site. Friendly and clean.
BBQs allowed but fires aren't.
Play park on site great for little kids and also the children made friends here because of that communal space
The showers and toilets were clean and cleaned several times a day.
Lovely family run site. Grandchildren helping clean up and we're really lovely kids
There is a Basil fawlty type character as per previous review but he was very pleasant to me and my dad and only annoyed when people broke the rules like putting the things in the wrong recycling bin etc
It was so windy so take wind breakers!!
Toilets have toilet roll and soap (some I've been to do not )
All in all we had a fab time and met some lovely people especially Dave the mechanic and his son Tristen who helped me along side another mechanic from Hull when I locked my car keys in my boot 🤣🤣🙄
Excellent location to explore tintagel castle and tintagel village.
Small kids Park in the village as well as a spar shop all within 5 mins walk.

10 mins away in the car from a lovely beach /strand with amazing waves (cash only pay machine)
Bude sea pool is 30mins in car but be warned to park more than 4 hours is 10 quid! Worth it for us personally.

Great welcome from the lady who owns the site. Explained everything and helped us choose a great pitch. Two toilet blocks and washing up area both at the top of the hill and both at the bottom. Showers were at the top of the hill by reception warm and plenty of space. Only downside the toilet and washing up block at the bottom the hot water was pants.

Toilets/Washing station and showers were cleaned on a daily basis and bins emptied every day. Site was clean and looked after.
There was a play park in the middle ideal for young kids. There is a sign asking not to play ball games as there are parked cars next to tents but unfortunately these rules were not followed by some.

Had two encounters of a gentleman who helps run the site and he was rude and quite short with us for no reason.

Site is perfect for anyone who wants to explore the area Tintagel Castle within walking distance and a beach less than 10 minutes drive. Not all parking machines take card payments or just park so take plenty of change.

Just stayed at The Headlands caravan & camping park in our motorhome & it’s a fantastic location, few minutes walk to Tintagel town which has plenty of brilliant eateries. With so many walks & Tintagel Castle just on the doorstep.
As for the park, it was so well kept & the owner Patrick & his wife were very friendly & accomodating. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone. Fantastic stay!

A prison with a scenic view. The commandant's winnebago is centre of operations and is planted near the toilet block from where he will harangue hapless campers. The toilet and washing up area are securely locked at night and they don't believe in supplying toilet paper.
Horrible campsite manager clearly trained at Alcatraz not in hospitality. If this was Arthur's experience of Tintagel he would have shoved the sword back in the stone

Lovely site views gorgeous walk along pathway to town not very good if you have mobility problems we got a taxi in which we thought was expensive £8.40 each way. The town is nice but small plenty of pubs and cafés. Unfortunately while we were there we had gale force winds for two days and it was quite frightening.
Probably would go back in the summer when the winds may not be as bad. Facilities quite good wardens very friendly and helpful 😁

Just returned from the Headland caravan park Tintagel, great location short walking distance from Tintagel were you will find plenty of eateries and shops, also very close to King Arthur’s castle and many costal walks. There were 18 of us together we celebrated my mothers 91st birthday, it was very much a holiday of memories as we used to holiday in Tintagel as children staying at the headland campsite as children over 60 years ago.
The caravan was clean and had everything we needed, the site manager was very friendly and helpful . I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return again soon.

Second visit but this time just the "grownups". Changed management just the week before we arrived and what a lovely and helpful couple they are! The site itself is perfectly situated right on the coast and only five minutes walk from all the shops, pubs, restaurants and the castle. Tintagel cove and Merlin's Cave about 15 mins steep walk but well worth it. Lovely statics contain everything you need and Egyptian cotton bedding a huge plus! We'll be back, thank you Patrick and Cecilia x

Decent sized site, within 5-10 minutes walk of village centre and close to Tintagel Castle / Merlin's Cave etc.
Most plots were flat to fairly flat, hard-standing and grass pitches with/without electric.
Usual dishwashing and Chemical toilet emptying areas.
Showers were good, plenty of space in them and a good temperature/ flow (no coins or tokens required).

This is the second time we have stayed at Headland Caravan Park and the first with new owners and what a great experience.

Facilities have been upgraded and the owners are exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Booked a camper van space with electric hook up and awning plus dog for three nights and cannot fault anything.

The site is well situated for those who enjoy walking as well as those who want to enjoy the local facilities which are about five minutes walk away.

Thank you Patrick and Cecilia.

We’ve been to this campsite several times and had a good time, hence why we’ve been back time and again. It’s such a good location.
This time we were met by the new couple managing it. What lovely people! So kind and helpful. They worked so hard and kept everything clean and tidy.
Our friends had a cable issue and they came along to help them out. They were also there when the storms hit to help dismantle their awning and even had one couple sleeping in their lounge when their tent blew away! We have a four yr old and we needed to wash some bedding. They offered to do it for us and got it dried too. Amazing!
A mixed bag of weather, but plenty to do regardless.
We’d recommend the Wooton’s Inn for food or a trip into Boscastle to the cake shop or the Cobweb Pub. St Nectar’s Glen was lovely, but remember a change of shoes as you will get wet feet.
Trebarwith Strand is by far our favourite beach.
Enjoy!
