Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed over new year and received good value for money . The decor of the place is nothing special but the rooms are very clean and have everything you need with ample hot drink sachets and biscuits . The breakfasts are excellent with great selections and portions. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall well worth the money.

We stayed for two nights, we were given a disability room, the wet room was lovely. The room was dated but very clean, breakfast was very nice and all the staff very friendly, plenty of free parking and a short walk to the castle. Very good value for money, would definitely recommend it.

Adequate, if you are not going to spend too much time in the actual Inn. The bar is functional, but needs a really good refurbish. The bed was comfy, but small for a double. Water pressure was strangely low in the shower, and there seemed to be no control over temperature, hence very hot all the time. Breakfast was good, but a little refinement would be welcomed. In summary, it is OK, but needs a really good overhaul.

Can't speak for the hotel accommodation but the bar is badly in need of attention. Shabby conditions, surly staff and very poor service. Although this is a busy village in the summer this bar is pne to be avoided.

Stayed in July 2003. Friendly staff serving good food, beer and cider. Pizzas were very good. Room was small and a bit out dated, but the bed was comfortable. Plenty of complimentary refreshments and shower stuff.

We stayed here overnight in the deluxe twin room which was immaculately clean and had a spacious bathroom. Service was quite slow at breakfast despite there only being a few tables of guests, but the food was freshly cooked. A big bonus was that we were able to leave our car in their car park on both days (the day we arrived before we checked in and the following day after checking out) which was very handy for exploring Tintagel.

I can't fault our stay. The staff were brilliant and they couldn't do enough for you. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast excellent, plenty of it too! We would certainly stay here again, and recommend it to others.

We had an accessible room on the ground floor with our dog. Lovely big comfortable bed. Great breakfast and good food in the evening. Nice friendly service. I had a great tikka masala curry and my husband had liver casserole which was delicious.
