We stayed for four nights in the Lapis Lazuli room,a double bedded room with a shower, facing the sea.
It had a small fridge and a kettle for making tea.
The wash basin was in the room and there were two comfortable chairs to relax in.
Because of the Covid rules, our towels were changed by clean ones being left outside for us.
We brought our own drinks but could have had as much tea and coffee as we wanted.
The room was clean bright and comfortable.
Breakfast was ordered by text the previous day and choices were good and well cooked.
Claire was always the pleasant host and gave us some very good tips on where to visit and the best places to eat in town which was only a short walk away.
We were the only guests staying,so were able to park in the area behind the house
,which is an advantage in a busy town like Tintagel where parking is so expensive. It is a difficult area to get to if you have a large car and have to then turn it round.
If you are looking for a good value B&B in a great location, I can highly recommend coming here.

Lovely bed and breakfast in Tintagel. Stunning view from bedroom which is nice and cosy.
Room clean, lovely soft towels provided, due to Covid we were left towels when needed and room could not be entered for general cleaning whilst we were there.
Bins just outside in garden so no problem emptying rubbish.
Room has kettle with plenty of beverages, small fridge to keep items cool.
Breakfast is pre ordered the night before and the cooked breakfast was great, everything that I needed was provided and being Celiac - Claire and Phil were very good at supplying me with what I could eat.
Very friendly and helpful couple and would definitely recommend staying here, it is very local to shops and there are stunning walks that you can do very close by.
Thank you Phil and Claire.

We visited here with family in late July and had a wonderful stay.

Our room/bathroom was recently decorated (ours had a wonderful view of Tintagel Castle Hotel), the guest house is in a fantastic location with views of the sea/parking at the back and Claire and Phil could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The full English breakfasts were especially memorable!

Bosayne Guest House comes highly recommended.

Wonderful guest house highly recommend

This guest house is wonderful, Phil & Claire are very welcoming & go that extra mile to accommodate all your needs. We had an amazing 3 night stay, and would not hesitate to return & highly recommend to others. The rooms are spotless with everything you could need ie tea/coffee in your room. The breakfast was excellent with a big variety of choices, cooked fresh each morning. We enjoyed chat with both Phil & Claire who are really friendly & helpful. There is parking for a few cars, however there is also adequate parking space available just across the road. The location was spot on, as you can just walk into town a few mins, where you will find many lovely places to eat & drink.

We stayed here for 3 nights in 'Amethyst' (as all the rooms have names) and really enjoyed it. The room had front views and with 2 chairs strategically placed you could indulge in people watching to your hearts content! The location is at the far end of Tintagel, but only a short walk of 3-4 minutes back in to the main town, and in summer at its peak I would imagine it to be the perfect place, away from the hubbub. It is also strategically placed for walkers being only 400yds or so from the coastal path. Claire and Phil are both wonderful hosts, very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble, the only possible downside being having to order the night before, although this does mean not having to wait around. The only slight negative I would mention is that parking can be a little tricky and not for the faint-hearted. It is a very tight turn into a narrow drive, and you have to manoeuvre the car into the correct position to attempt it, however if you don't fancy it there are usually spaces in the road opposite. We will be back!

This is a lovely guest house only a few minutes’ walk from the Castle entrance and Fore Street, the main commercial street in the village. We were greeted by Clare when we rang the bell at 4 pm. She was friendly and gave us some basic information about the guest house (ordering breakfast, locking doors), before showing us to our room on the first floor, AMETHYST. She also pointed out where we could park our car on the nearby street, visible from our window. The room itself was clean and cozy, with lots of small details to make it comfortable including two armchairs overlooking the front yard and the open sea just beyond. A note that the bathroom (shower and toilet) is very small and there was a tiny sink located in the room itself. But it was great for one night. Breakfast had the full range of hot and cold options including fresh fruit salad. It was made to order and delicious.

From the moment of booking we received a warm welcome from the Bosayne. Regular emails and recommendations for places to eat were a great help and enabled us to make a reservation for an evening where the town was very busy.
We called to see whether we could check in slightly earlier than planned and was warmly greeted upon arrival. Our host helped with our suitcases & showed us to the fabulously located Amethyst room, certainly a room with a view.
We had a comfortable night and a lovely breakfast the following morning.
Highly recommend this B&B which is in a great location, within walking distance of the town.

We booked this B & B months out form New Zealand, as it had very good reviews and a view of the farmlands and coast from the bedroom window. We arrived to find we had to park round the back with no rear access, so had to lug our bags all the way round to the front. The door took a long to time to be answered but were finally ushered in to what I expected, a thoroughly eclectic interior. All sorts of decoration as is typical with British B & B's. This was pre-Covid times, so we were offered a cuppa and biscuits before being shown to our upstairs room. The owner turned up in his socks for a brief chat, but didn't offer to help with our bags. Odd. Once were we in our comfortable room, we found out, through the internet, that the Castle was closed for repairs. Now the main reason for coming to Tintagel is to go to the castle. We would have thought that the, proprietors would have advised us of that!! They gave us a recommendation for dinner, so we wandered off into the village for a standards pub type meal. From then on things got better. The bed was very comfortable, the room nice and cosy and we had a thoroughly good sleep. Breakfast in the morning made up, for all our woes. The owners cooked to order and the wee breakfast room was nice and warm in readiness for our next part of our journey. All in all, a pleasant stay, a little quirky, but that is all the fun of travelling.

Claire and Phil are the new owners and are beginning to make their mark on the B&B. It was very Covid secure and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The views from the rooms across the Castle and sea are stunning especially at sun set. Our friend stayed in the cottage at the back and this was ideal for self catering.

We stayed for 3 nights in Lapis Lazuli. The views were great and it was very pleasurable to sit in the bay window having a drink. The room was not cramped at all and was very clean. We kept the windows open so the room never got too hot. The tea and coffee facilities were welcome. Breakfast was pre-ordered and was good, especially the smoked salmon. The B&B is nicely positioned with only a few minute walk to the shops, pubs and cafes. The parking was a challenge when the car park was full. One night we parked opposite as there is free parking. The hosts are friendly and very helpful. The experience of the whole stay was very good. This place is highly recommended

Does the twin beds room have a private bathroom? Thanks
Answer from john w

Thank you for your interest in Bosayne. Room 4 is a twin bed room with ensuite shower/WC facilities. Room 8 may also be used as a twin room, ans has private, and sole use of a shower and WC facility across the landing. We hope this helps you with a decision.
