Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just stayed for two nights at this lovely b&b . Couldn’t be more happier hosts were lovely catered for our every need great welcome on arrival. Room was huge with an en-suite bathroom . High ceilings and a view of the town centre from our window . We were in room 1 the room itself was spotless. Breakfast was served in our room ordered via text plenty to choose from cereal juice full English fruit salad as well. I would like to thank our hosts for an amazing stay highly recommend this b&b to anyone wishing to stay in the heart of Tintagel.

We booked a 2 night stay in the loft room and it was lovely. Booked last minute and were the only mad tourists visiting Tintagel in the storms, but also only guests at Gordon House so felt very special. Sharon and Stuart were fab, really friendly and welcoming. Place was immaculate, warm and cosy, and breakfast superb. Would highly recommend.

Gordon House really is the perfect place for a relaxing break.
Our room was spotlessly clean, so cosy but also felt really spacious and airy with its high ceilings and widows on 2 sides.
Breakfast is currently served in your room due to Covid regulations but this felt like a treat too. There is so much choice and so many veggy and vegan options. Everything was delicious.

Really enjoyed our stay at Gordon House B&B. Room was spotless, bed really comfortable and had everything we needed. We had room 2, which is at the back of the house and was really quiet. Breakfast is currently being served to your room, however we found this a treat. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. The cooked breakfast was hot, tasty and good quality. Friendly hosts, would highly recommend.

We stayed here for 1 night in August 2022. We chose this as it was the name of my late Dad. We are glad that we did, the location was great to visit Tintagel Castle. The rooms were lovely and clean. I loved that the breakfast was brought to your room..It was a lovely breakfast and there was plenty of it.
The hosts were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The guest house had a great central location and the room was clean and fresh with a great shower. Breakfast was lovely too - a good variation of choices and if you went for the Full English, it was cooked right in front of you. Sharon and Stuart were excellent hosts - very friendly and easy to chat to, whilst offering good information on the locality.
In short we would definitely recommend the Gordon House B+B and would have no hesitation in revisiting it ourselves.

Vistited the B&B earlier this month, I was one of there first customers as they have not been open that long but I would recommend it. I was picked up by them from Newquay airport and stayed in room 1. The shower was really warm and the towels were nice and soft too. My room was clean every day when I came back and the cooked breakfast was great too. Was very impressed considering its a new B&B with not much experience yet and I would recommend it to all. I will definitely go back when I next visit Tintagel or somewhere nearby, I felt the price was good too compared to the average in the area.

This was the best b&b I've stayed in, the hosts were fantastic and welcoming, the room was bright and cheerful. Spotless appearance. Would recommend a stay here to everyone as it only has 3 rooms so nice and quiet.

Gordon House is a great place to stay! The owners are incredibly welcoming, and provide a delicious breakfast each morning with your choice of hot and cold food. The room was very clean and private, even though it is within a relatively small house. The house is right in the centre of town, a very short walk from the restaurants/pub, shops, and of course Tintagel Castle. We have stayed here before a couple of years ago and enjoyed it so much that we returned, and would highly recommend it to anyone heading to Tintagel!
