Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Went with husband tail end of November the views our perfect from the clifftop unit we had...but there was a few unfortunate maintenance issues / bad planning...Plumbing did not allow for a normal length shower as shower tray was overflowing...had to turn off to shampoo hair then turn back on...heating on timer and woke every night about 3am freezing even tried overriding the timer could not get to keep on....hot tub too much chlorine must have been in it on arrival as we both had a rash and sore eyes hot tub attended informed and it did get better day by day...we have always had a holiday with hot tubs. A few other minor issues but the views were so good that you can work arround theses issues...we did not inform the reception as we wanted to relax without people disturbing us as i have noticed these issues have been mentioned on other reviews and really should have been dealt with ....plus no bath in our unit as description....

Stayed in pound cottage spa, with my husband and dog. The accommodation was lovely and modern, but still had cottage features. Hot tub was great, even used in the stormy weather as it is very well sheltered. The courtyard garden is enclosed so great for the dog. The site was nice and quiet. We ate in the restaurant which was also nice. Caught the bus into Dartmouth which is right outside the site cost only £2 each way. Staff were very friendly and would like to thank them for a wonderful stay.

We stayed in the pound cottage spa for 4 nights. The cottage itself is absolutely lovely and a beautiful place. The view over the ocean is stunning and the lodge was lovely inside with a wood burner and a really nice hot tub. The biggest down fall was the fact that upstairs is also rented out and unfortunately whoever was upstairs was so noisy and woke us up and our 2 little children through out the middle of the night each night. Even general noise from them was very loud which was such a shame as we would have definitely considered returning if it wasn’t for this. We also ate on the restaurant onsite and that was really nice food and the service was amazing!

What a gem of a place! It’s lovely. We stayed in a Cliff Top Chalet. Views of the sea are great, the chalet was comfortable and warm. Excellent shower and loads of hot water. Great WiFi and good TV reception with smart tv (iplayer, Netflix access etc). Didn’t visit the restaurant, was only open mon and tues evenings on our 4 night stay. Great pub in village, Green Dragon. Opens at 5pm and is immediately busy. Recommend to book for meals. EV car charger (payable) was a bonus. Two chargers and usually available. We were there in storm Babet, so it was a bit wet and windy, but still lovely. Would definitely choose to return.

Lovely weekend, relaxing and quiet. We stayed in chalet . On arrival the receptionist was welcoming and friendly. Chalet was basic but had everything we needed. Over looking the sea was perfect recipe. Chalet was clean, we spoke to receptionist second day in, our shower wasn't working well. Maintenance were straight on it and sorted it. Restaurant available and also take away. Would definitely recommend St Leonards Cove if your looking for somewhere to relax.

Excellent location, views, accommodation, easy booking process, communication and helpful staff. Our Ocean 21 caravan was spotlessly clean, well equipped and with stunning sea views. We are walking the South West Coast Path and there’s a good hourly bus service in each direction from right outside the site with great local walks.

A wonderful little resort, off the beaten track, with the most amazing views and impeccable accommodation. I came for a 2 night stay in a clifftop lodge (number 8). The front facade is understated, and at check-in I was even warned it may worry me! But once through the front door you will not be disappointed; from the most amazing view as soon as you open the door and the room itself. I found the lodge fresh and immaculately clean, with all amenities that you need for a comfortable self-catered stay (tea-towels, washing up liquid, dishcloth, sponge etc.) The kitchen was well equipped (microwave, oven, hob, kettle, toaster) and everything had been thought of, there was nothing missing. The lodge appeared newly decorated, with new furniture and the decor matched well with the surroundings - very relaxing. The large floor to ceiling glass patio doors in the living room allowed full enjoyment of the view, and the balcony was spacious with a dining table. The bed was the most comfortable bed I'd ever slept in! I honestly cannot fault anything in this accommodation and I would highly recommend it. I could quite happily have stayed in the lodge the whole weekend with a good book looking out to sea! The views over the bay were incredible and I would recommend the clifftop lodges on the resort as those with the most beautiful and uninterrupted views. Though being set on a hill, all caravans, as well as the bungalows, have great views of the sea. The location is ideally situated for lots of local tourists spots; it's 3mins drive to Blackpool Sands, and about the same in the opposite direction to Little Dartmouth Car Park from where you can walk the coastal path towards Dartmouth - a stunning walk. A wonderful resort, with everything you need for a comfortable, high quality stay, the most amazing views, and in the perfect location for all types of break from a relaxing weekend away to an action packed family getaway.

3 night stay which resulted in a 2 night stay, as we had enough. Negatives: Touring park, was very uneven, not clearly marked out and had a hill to the camping site to use the only touring/camping toilets (only 3!) Resturant extraction was loud and on until around 10pm. When asked if we could be closer to the toilet for medical reasons, the receptionist replied "no, but we have plenty of bushes you can use?!" Positives: Bus stops is right outside the park.

We’ve just returned today from what has to be the most relaxing holiday we’ve ever had!! We stayed in Clifftop 5 chalet. When we arrived the chalet was immaculately clean. Lovely modern furnishings and we were surprised to find the basics were supplied ie. washing up liquid, tea towel, dishcloth and fresh white towels. The walk up to the top of the park from the chalet was steep and could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues, we were out of puff by the time we got there!! But by far, the best thing has to be the view from the accommodation, it really is spectacular. To be able to sit outside in the evening while having a meal, enjoying the view and watching the boats go by was really special. If you can catch the sunrise too, it’s stunning. We had a fish and chip takeaway from Radius 7 which was very good and reasonably priced too, well worth a visit. Good bus service from directly outside the park and a lovely walk to Blackpool Sands along the coastal path. We will definitely be returning to Leonard’s Cove and would highly recommend a visit there.
