Well kept beers and pub grub in a cosy, friendly and popular old pub in a beautiful village Garden is accessed from the bar or from the lane and gently slopes to the church that sounds on the hour. Few pubs can match the setting or history.

I stayed here recently. A perfect place with a great welcome, great atmosphere (particularly on our Friday night) and top service from everyone. And the pie is a 'must do' with perfectly cooked fresh veg (not something I normally notice with a pie like that but it was all superb). Eat the pie

Beautiful old pub tucked away in Dartmoor countryside. Very welcoming, with good choice of meals. Would recommend the pies! Made us and our (very large) dog feel at home. Good choice of eatery after a visit to the beautiful Fingle Bridge walk.

Stayed for one night on our 2 Moors Walk. When we arrived tired and thirsty it was a most welcoming sight. A lovely old thatched pub in the village square next to the church. Our room overlooked the square and provided everything we needed. The bar served a range of real ales straight from the barrel as well as an...

We popped into the pub on our way through and were pleased to catch it just before it closed at 6pm on Sundays. We got a nice welcome from the staff and really enjoyed our local beers and cider. We will definitely be back!

We wanted to find a 'nice' pub for a family evening meal and as a last minute booking I googled The Drewe Arms. The food was lovely, particularly the prawn starter with Hugo's three bread plait of bread. The main courses, steak, pork chop and lamb steak were lovely and the child's fish and chips went down well. The burger...

Well, what a wonderful place. The landlord and staff could not have been more helpful in accommodating our large party. My son is in a large power chair and they were simply wonderful. The food was superb. I had the squid which was so fresh and beautifully cooked. I would highly recommend this pub and we'll be back. Thank you...

I can't apologise for for praising this little pub again. Lovely setting, friendly owners and great pub food. Chips properly cooked and crunchy brown, tasty home made beef and ale pies with pastry ALL ROUND and a well cooked portion of the green stuff. My friend had the chicken version and it was equally delighted. It won't be long before...

Although it looks big from the outside, I have heard on good authority that the original Drewe Arms was just the little tiny room on the left of the entrance, with just the tiny window in the wall as its bar. It was the kind of place where only one conversation was held and discussed by the 15-20 people you...

This is a proper, traditional pub in a lovely village with a corner shop/post office and a church. The pub serves beautifully kept real ale and cider and serves lovely, truly lovely, food; possibly one of the best pub steaks I have ever had. If you are anywhere near this place, make a detour and discover this gem. No juke...
