What a treat is was to stay and eat at the Drewe Even more of a treat when the total cost including Food and drinks including an excellent bin end Shiraz was less the £120. An absolute steal. The room was really nice. Much nicer than a sanitised homogenised Hotel chain room, I am used to. Lots of character and...

We regularly walk our two flat coated retrievers on Mardon Down and have found this to be the best place for miles around for a real homemade local lunch. The whole menu is just brilliant, whether the choice of ploughman's, the cottage or steak and kidney pies to the simply amazing sticky toffee pudding - wow! And the choice of...

We always go in search of the quirky and the friendly, so for us to go somewhere a second time it must tick the boxes, and to get a second 5* review it must be getting it right. If you are seeking a cosy Inn to explore Dartmoor from, this is for you. Clean, warm room, lovely locals, cracking food...

After a lovely stroll down by the river Teign on a gloomy rainy day, a friend and I decided to pop into The Drewe to see what food they were offering. On such a damp day we were given such a warm friendly welcome, drinks were provided promptly, and we were shown to our table in the restaurant towards the...

Well kept beers and pub grub in a cosy, friendly and popular old pub in a beautiful village Garden is accessed from the bar or from the lane and gently slopes to the church that sounds on the hour. Few pubs can match the setting or history.

I stayed here recently. A perfect place with a great welcome, great atmosphere (particularly on our Friday night) and top service from everyone. And the pie is a 'must do' with perfectly cooked fresh veg (not something I normally notice with a pie like that but it was all superb). Eat the pie

Beautiful old pub tucked away in Dartmoor countryside. Very welcoming, with good choice of meals. Would recommend the pies! Made us and our (very large) dog feel at home. Good choice of eatery after a visit to the beautiful Fingle Bridge walk.

Stayed for one night on our 2 Moors Walk. When we arrived tired and thirsty it was a most welcoming sight. A lovely old thatched pub in the village square next to the church. Our room overlooked the square and provided everything we needed. The bar served a range of real ales straight from the barrel as well as an...

We popped into the pub on our way through and were pleased to catch it just before it closed at 6pm on Sundays. We got a nice welcome from the staff and really enjoyed our local beers and cider. We will definitely be back!

We wanted to find a 'nice' pub for a family evening meal and as a last minute booking I googled The Drewe Arms. The food was lovely, particularly the prawn starter with Hugo's three bread plait of bread. The main courses, steak, pork chop and lamb steak were lovely and the child's fish and chips went down well. The burger...
