Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed for 6 months in flat 5 (top floor) while on a business trip. Fantastic flat for a single person long stay or couple short stay, provided not too tall as ceilings and thus ceiling lights are lower than other floors (I am 177cm). Serviced weekly. Kitchen well equipped. TV had more functions than I needed. Wi-fi excellent speed. Shower pressure good. Comfortable king size bed that could be split to 2 singles when my sibling visited. Fantastic views to both north (St Davids church) and south (Exeter Cathedral), with occasional sound/sight of planes crossing W-E in the distance to Exeter airport. In summer with windows open on both sides cross ventilation kept flat naturally cooler and a small fan was available to assist if too hot. Quiet location except for Halloween when there was a party nearby (but noise stopped before midnight). Allocated parking bay. Easy, flat walking to various bus routes/stops and shopping/eating out in the high street. Top floor access is via stairs - but was worth it. I used the dining table/chair as a desk for work (rotated to face the windows) and bought a 1.5m multi-plug plus USB hub to put on it as I wanted more plugs on the 'desk' and so I didn't need to stretch down to insert/remove plugs from behind the tv or use the ones in the kitchen. I had one primary contact person (Juliet) who was great in providing me with information and addressed a few issues/questions I had promptly. I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was very clean, spacious & well equipped. Great location, only 5 minutes walk in to the city. The host, Juliet, was super helpful, friendly & accommodating, with fast & efficient email contact. The ‘welcome pack’ is a nice touch!

I was moving to Exeter to study at the University and came across this place. It just felt like home away from home. The service is excellent. Not only that, it is extremely safe. As a single female, I really appreciated the regular checks that were made to know if I needed any kind of help. The staff are very courteous and friendly. The apartments are in a quiet location very close to the university as well as the city centre. There is parking onsite if you need it. As I decided to stay on at the University to do a post graduate course, my family came to visit on a number of occasions for extended stays. All arrangements were made, as per our requirements, to ensure they were comfortable and taken care off. Based on my experience of staying at Silversprings multiply times over a three year period, I can highly recommend their apartments, if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable stay in Exeter.

What a lovely apartment, only a stones throw away from Exeter centre, with it's craft beer bars and it's lovely riverside pubs. The apartment itself is stylish, lovely modern kitchen and bathroom, and some lovely little touches with tea biscuit's orange juice and milk all ready in the apartment on arrival, we even had ice cubes lol. The old heavy blackout curtains made it easy to lie in, and parking was just at the rear of the property. Communication was superb from the lovely Julia from start to finish, all in all we had a fantastic weekend. The only negatives we had (and it is only very small niggles) and this is only for feedback to Silversprings, because i know that they will want to give guests a 100% positive experience. The shower controls were a little difficult to turn, i myself have carpel tunnel in one hand and arthritis in the other, so i found it a little tight to turn, also the water pressure isn't the best, as a retired plumber i know that that can be sorted by fitting a salamander pump to the main riser to the apartment, i know because we had the same problem at our property, and the pumps at around £300 are superb. Also the tv signal kept on cutting out, not a major problem, because you don't go to a beautiful city like Exeter to watch tv lol, but it was a little annoying when trying to watch something before retiring to bed. Other than that i would not hesitate to stay here again when back in the area, thanks guys we had a wonderful stay.

Stayed at Silver Springs apartment for three nights to visit Exeter, the apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped with all you could need, with bedding and towels and all the dish washer capsules and washing machine capsules provided, in a very good position in a central location, with a four minute walk to the city centre. Two minutes to Exeter central railway station. A television in both the lounge and the bedroom, a modern bathroom, a very good stay at a very good price, we will book again.

Just returned from a weekend here and it was an excellent stay, met at the apartment and checked in earlier than advertised by a most helpful informative lady which was lovely The apartment itself was clean with everything you need and it was nice and quiet although in a central location with everything within walking distance which was a bonus as was the lovely warm weather ordered just for us Only 1 criticism was the bed albeit a big double was too soft for us but that’s a personal preference and some may like it that way Would we return here if we came to Exeter?? Absolutely would and that’s the best feedback anyone can give Many thanks

The location, amenities, cleanliness and comfort of our stay was second only to the staff and management of the property! I simply cannot say enough about how Juliet went above and beyond to ensure that we were entirely comfortable. She has a genuine pride in the property and an interest in her guests. I can't imagine staying or recommending anywhere else! Silversprings are excellent communicators along every step of the booking and the rooms are very welcoming and to a very high standard with an attention to detail. Truly outstanding accommodations!

We have now stayed in two different apartments at Silver Springs - both excellent, both amongst the best we have ever had. The standards and attention to detail in both apartments are very high. All queries were handled promptly and with a very high level of care and efficiency. Having parking behind the apartments is another wonderful bonus. I’m trying to think of drawbacks, and really all I can think of is that we when we tried to book an extra night, it was fully booked - just a sign of how lovely it is. This is the sort of gem I almost don’t want to review as I want it to remain our secret! But instead, can only highly recommend! Thank you, we will be back.
