i stayed here for 3 nights. Booked a single room and was pleasantly surprised to get an upgrade to a double. Due to my short stay and as per their covid measures, my room did not get cleaned during my stay. That didnt bother me. Each day, you have to pre book your breakfast slot for the next day. You order a cooked breakfast at the table, and can help yourself to cereals, fruit and juice from their buffet. The room was basic but clean, and had everything i needed. It had a mini fridge and you could ask for fresh milk for tea at reception. The hotel is in a good location and everything was within a walkable distance. They allowed me to leave my luggage for storage on my day of arrival. The owners were very friendly and happy to answer queries.

Handy with parking for the Hoe, good location for walking and exploring. Clean, comfortable, nice bed. Good quality cooked breakfast. The second floor is reached by a fair amount of stairs so if this will be an issue ask for a lower room.

We return to Plymouth Multiple times each year and try not to stay anywhere else. Number one is a friendly, clean B&B and a short walk to the sea front. Breakfast is tasty and plenty of choice for all tastes. Beds are very comfortable, which to be honest is a major feature of any room I stay in. There's also free parking. Returning again very soon.

Really great stay at Number One hotel. Very friendly hosts! Lovely clean room. Loved the mirror in the bathroom which is heated to stop it steaming up. Tasty and good quality breakfast - lots of options including cooked. Great location near the Hoe. Good value for money. Parking easy and free. Would definitely stay again.
