Loved my 2 night stay here last week. Warm welcome, Spotlessly clean, Well thought out room. Bathroom immaculate , very welcome power shower, plenty of hot water, a necessity after hiking from Portwrinkle. An excellent breakfast brought to your room at your time of choosing due to Covid ( pre- ordered the day before). Thank you Lee & Jenny for a memorable stay. We will return, Paul & Rod.

Amazing couple days at the Sea Breeze, Jenny was accommodating and an incredible chef, she went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and hassle free. The room was clean and the bedding fresh as a daisy. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Please note the ownership of this once excellent B & B has changed. We arrived at the agreed time window to be left standing outside for 20 minutes. The owner turned up in her car with no apology. We were shown our room which was not what we expected. The waste bin was still full from the previous occupant, and there were cobwebs around the window frames and ceiling. Breakfast was arranged for 08:30 and we were told we had to have it in our room. The next morning we had a knock at the door just a few minutes past eight, it was our breakfast, it was not as expected bearing in mind we had stopped at this same B & B for the last 10 years with the previous owner and the standard was always excellent, so the offering was very disappointing. It was also very disturbing as the husband of the owner pushed past me with the breakfast tray without asking, and this was not the etiquette we are used to. We noted that the former dining room has been turned into their accommodation, so once Covid 19 is over I fear this B & B will continue to serve Breakfast in the room, but we will not be there to experience this because we will not be going back, and The gutter outside our window is growing grass and weeds. The toast was not even browned, and the beans were cold. Anne the previous owner won Trip Advisor wards for many years and in.10 months this flag ship of a B & B has been reduced to a shambles.

Response from Jenny Vu, Owner at Sea Breezes
Responded 19 Sep 2020
I am sorry to read that you had some issues with your stay Robin. I can assure you since this difficult time everyone has been facing during the pandemic, everyone here at the B & B has been working extra hard to keep all guests safe. I am sorry to hear you didn't enjoy you breakfast, although I remember your plates being clear at the time. As a Vietnamese chef, I take pride in cooking home cooked food and enjoy sharing my passion with my guests in a comfortable relaxed setting and make a conscious effort to ensure bellies are full and plates are empty. You also mentioned that there have been some changes since the previous owners left, I assure you that although we have had to make some changes to the layout, to facilitate our small family who also reside on the premises, our main aim is to keep all guests comfortable and their requirements met to the highest possible standard. This has worked fine for previous guests, as you can see from our reviews on Trip Advisor everyone has been more than happy with the service we have provided and I have received no other complaints regarding the new layout. As a business small business owner I find it quite upsetting that the high standards we pride ourselves on, have not met your expectations Robin. Customer care and hospitality are of paramount importance to us and we treat all reviews on Trip Advisor seriously. I am sorry that you felt we have under performed as a guest house and felt the need to write this negative review, to which i have to object as I feel we have provided you with an adequate service, which I was lead to believe you were satisfied with at the time of your stay. Kind regards Jenny

Myself and my partner stayed here for 2 nights. The hosts were lovely and our room was well decorated and spotless. The location on the sea front and around 15min walk to the town. Due to covid breakfast was being served to the room. This was great and the food was delicious. Everything was fresh and local produce with fresh squeezed orange juice. You have to pay £5 per day for the parking permit this was the only down side aswell as not always being promised a space on the road. However it is on the sea front so to be expected. Bed was super comfortable and got great couple nights sleep. Would defiently stay again.
