we were pleasantly surprised when entering our room, it was clean, fresh and well appointed with a very comfortable bed, for a budget hotel i found it more than acceptable and the staff were friendly and helpful. only a short walking distance from the city centre and train station we would recommend it to those who are watching their budget...

Don't stay here. It's only tidy on the outside. Very dated inside and poorly lite and dirty. Full time residents stay here. The front door doesn't close and is left ajar over night. Poor fittings in bath area. The final straw felt something crawl across my back. Booked for 2 nights we only stayed 1. It's cheap for reason. I...

Nobody at reception to start with, asked to sit in a dark room waiting for the owner. 20 minutes later received key to room on the top floor. Being on a main road it was very noisy with the poor old windows. Radiators didn't work, so wore clothes in bed as it was freezing cold. Two big holes in the...

For the price we paid, I didn't expect the best hotel in Devon. Although I expected polite staff and a clean tidy room. The receptionist was very rude and rushed our check-in after travelling all day. The room was very dirty and stains on pillows/bedding. On booking.com breakfast was supposedly including in the rate we paid, although they told us...

Stayed here for one night and the hotel was clean and tidy if in need of a little updating. The room was a little cold but a heater was provided. I have to mention the young lad at reception was very helpful and friendly even with us arriving very late at night.

Stayed here for one night, I was told on arrival that breakfast was not included in the price I was quoted. I saw two different members of staff who weren't very welcoming at all! The room was on the top floor with a painted window in the ceiling! The bed was rock hard, with a cigarette burn in the duvet...

We enjoyed our stay at St Rita's and would stay here again. I was worried after reading all the terrible reviews on here but needn't have been. Our room was spacious, very clean, the bed was comfortable. We had a good hot shower, tea making facilities, a working tv with all the channels. We even had a good view of...

We stayed at St. Rita on 22nd July -23rd July. This hotel is a cheap Bed and Brekfast, therefore we expected basics and nothing more. The Hotel provided us with two double rooms, next to each other, both with en suite. Both rooms were clean and spacious, a little wear and tare but appart from that cannot fault. For the...
