Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The dinner was lovely and the service was friendly and welcoming. Charlotte did an amazing job of keeping on top of service in a busy restaurant and was friendly and attentive. The chef, Chrissie produced lovely food and was also very attentive.

What a great way to spend our wedding anniversary, had a premier room which was so lovely and clean. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and nothing too much trouble. When we returned to our room one evening there was a box of chocolates and an anniversary card so nice. It was a nice touch to a lovely stay. So thank you to all the staff. We will back. Thank you once again.

Booked trip at short notice to visit a sick relative in the area. The booking and check-in/out processes was quick & efficient. The staff on-site was very friendly & helpful and even gave us a complimentary breakfast as there was a mix-up with one of the rooms, which they also rectified promptly. The location is perfectly situated for the Barbican area with its shops & restaurants all close by. The only negatives were; the lifts were out of action and the Wifi was also down for the duration of out trip - 3 days.

Always enjoy staying at Premier Inn but this was a bit of a let down. We were on the 3rd floor and the lift was not working (awaiting spare parts from supplier). The Wi-Fi was very intermittent and had been reported to Virgin.com again awaiting repair. Staff were very friendly but kept saying "You Guys OK" this is a really annoying phrase, everywhere you go not just this hotel.

Room was nice, good for what we needed for a short stay. Unfortunately the lift was broken and our room was on the 1st floor not ideal with a young one but we manage fine and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast with Keaton and Charlotte was lovely they went the extra mile as my eldest wouldn’t eat so Charlotte gave her a takeaway box and helped her to choose breakfast to take for Kate while we ate our breakfast. Keaton was very friendly checking we had everything we needed and chatting with my girls and help us with things to do in the local area. We would definitely recommended and we would certainly stay there again.

The staff at the Premier Inn were second to none. Hannah and Keaton made all our family feel at home and very, very welcome. The food hit the spot, just what a family needed. The beds were comfy, the shower hot and the towels fluffy. But it is the staff at this Premier Inn that make it. Thank you Keaton, Hannah and all the team.

Ideal for visiting the Aquarium and Barbican Leisure Park. Not too far from the city centre either. Staff were really helpful and friendly, breakfast was well stocked. Only minor issue was noise from the air con at night so we switched it off.

Great hotel, We booked a premier plus room which was on the 3rd floor which had a nice view, The room was spotless definitely worth paying a little extra for the plus rooms. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had only booked for one night but decided to stay for a second night.

Stayed in this hotel for the first time a couple of weekends ago whilst visiting family, I usually stay at the Lockyers Quay hotel next door but on this occasion this hotel was cheaper. The hotel is very clean which was good, it was in all essence though a standard Premier inn. No fault of the hotel or the staff here but someone stomping around on the floor above pre-6am meant that we didn’t get a great night’s sleep - if I stay here again we’ll definitely ask for a room not on the ground floor.

The location was perfect, close enough to be a short walk to the centre, but also quiet and peaceful so we got an excellent night's sleep. We had a view overlooking the harbour. The staff were friendly and served us as soon as we arrived. The hotel was clean and looked nice.
