Breakfast was fabulous, a good night's sleep and a step back in time for us (disclosure here - my wife's family lived here 200+ years ago - so we had to stay & check it out). But - Margaret does everything she can to ensure you are comfortable - Thank you Margaret.

The room was overcrowded with doilies & clutter & furniture. It was like basically being at my nan's house whom I love very much but she has a big QVC problem. It was exactly how it sounds on a farm & the brekkie was lovely but for me personally I wont be returning for work, as the links to Plymouth...

A bit off my track, doing the South West Coastal Path, I approached the front door with some trepidation but on entering was given a nice welcome and shown to my very clean, comfortable room. Full English the next morning was excellent. I can highly recommend for walkers.

Stayed here for 2 nights in August for a wedding at nearby Langdon Court which was within walking distance. The setting is very tranquil despite being only a short drive from Plymouth and there is more than enough local pubs and eateries in the area to complement the excellent freshly cooked to order farmhouse breakfasts available every morning. Margaret the...

Firstly let me say this is a working farm, for those who don't want animal noises or the occasional farm smell don't book of if you do book don't moan afterwards. Right now that's out of the way, let's start. We wanted a location close to plymouth, that was quiet and as a bonus on a farm. This place fitted...

We stayed here 2 nights while visiting for a family party. It was just what we needed and loved that it was quiet with just farm sounds. We didn't mind the farmyard smells although some might be put off. Owner very friendly and happy to help. We will certainly stay again.

Loved my stay at Gabber Farm, really good value. Cooked breakfast was delicious and included in the price. Owner is friendly and always happy to assist. Room (twin ensuite) was clean and cosy with tea making facilities, oh, and wifi! A little bit of noise from the farm vehicles and cows but that's to be expected on a working farm....

Stayed for 3 nights with a break of one night in the middle where we stayed at Langdon Court for a wedding. Firstly it's very rare for a B&B or hotel to allow you to split your stay, especially over a weekend, so excellent service. The owner Margaret is very friendly and takes an interest in your visit, and is...

I stayed at Gabber farm recently found on night. I rang and booked very last minute after seeing a vacancy online. The farm is located about 20mins from Plymouth in a small village called Down Thomas. It is a working dairy farm run by Margaret who is wonderful. I stayed in a single room with no ensuite which was no...

Gabber Farm is conveniently close to Plymouth and its marinas. I needed somewhere to stay overnight when I was preparing a boat in Plymouth Yacht Haven, and could not conceivably have done better. The rooms have everything you could need. En suite shower room was well appointed, very clean, and with a strong electric shower. Really good tea and coffee...
