Muntham Luxury Holiday Apartments and Townhouse are located in one of the most affluent areas of Torquay close to what the locals call "Wellswood Village" with its pub, post office, convenience store, restaurants, delicatessen and so much more. Once a grand Victorian Villa the property has 6 self catering apartments and luxury Townhouse. There are two very spacious one bedroom apartments on the ground floor, two studios and two further one bedroom apartments on the first floor. The townhouse is completely self contained and has three bedrooms two bathrooms, living room, formal dining room, study, kitchen/diner and its own terrace, garden and Hot Tub. Being pet friendly, having a large car park with 2 EV charging points, external CCTV and extensive gardens makes this the perfect holiday home. The famous southern coastal path walk it at the end of the road and Anstey's Cove is an 8 minute walk from the property.

A lovely 6 day stay in Apartment 5. A beautifully decorated apartment, with a well equipped kitchen and stylish bathroom with walk in shower. The owners Adam and Grant were delightful, so friendly and helpful. My husband marveled at their well stocked garden. The Holiday Apartments were above the town but within walking distance of shops and bus routes. We explored the area, taking the ferry to Brixham, Enjoyed a lovely walk along the coastal path to Babbacombe, eating there twice, enjoyed walks along Meadfoot beach and had our last breakfast at the cafe there. We stayed in the townhouse which was a beautifully restored Victoria property where we had a wonderful week away. This was our first holiday away with our dog and wanted something dog friendly. This accommodation was perfect . Every room was decorated to a very high standard. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you would ever need - even complimentary milk, sugar, tea, coffee and a lovely box of biscuits . Ozzie was even given his own basket with towels, dog bowl and treats which was a lovely touch. It had beautiful mature gardens which had an added bonus of a hot tub which we loved relaxing in after a day of exploring beautiful Devon. There were lots of dog friendly walks and beaches very close by and the owner, Adam, was very informative and very helpful giving us recommendations of places to visit. Our favourite place to walk Ozzie was Cockington Country Park which is only a few minutes from Torquay . A walk into Babbacombe Downs only took 15 minutes and is highly recommended if you like a quieter town with stunning views. The beach can be accessed by the cliff railway. We also walked into Torquay harbour and town where there were a lovely selection of restaurants and bars . Thank you so much for our wonderful stay and would wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful townhouse for anyone who is looking for a luxury stay in Torquay with very friendly hosts .

These apartments are the height of comfort, style, and restfulness. Set apart from the busyness of the seafront, the Victorian building is in a quiet, leafy neighborhood with local shops, cafes, and pubs. Beaches, parks, and the SW Coast Path are short walks away, and there is a lovely garden on the premises. The hosts have us a lovely warm welcome, and the flat was better equipped with high-quality kitchen items and toiletries, any of which I’d be happy to have in my own home (which is beyond rare for a holiday let). The owners even lefts chilled water, soft drinks, and a small jug of milk for our morning teas/coffees. We are booking for our next visit already!

Myself and my partner (26yo) stayed for a few nights in one of the apartments and had a really lovely time.
Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, everything looked considered and stylish. The bed felt super sized and comfy which made for a great nights sleep.
I absolutely loved a few of the special touches; tea and biscuits provided, some refreshments in the fridge as well as the robes in the bathroom. It felt like everything was thought of with the guest in mind and not something you see in every guest house/hotel.
The Apartments are situated on a bit of an incline so ensure to bring a car if you get short of breath/ have trouble walking.
Thank you so much for a great stay, if we're ever back in Torquay we will most certainly be returning!

Absolutely delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and thank you for posting such lovely comments - it does really mean a lot and helps motivate us to go even further for our guests. We are always buzzing with ideas and in January 2023 our EV charging points are due to be fitted making life much easier for our customers with electric vehicles.... In terms of the hills - yes Torquay is built on eight of them BUT it's why locals live so long - all that free cardio!!!

Just returned from a long weekend and don't write many reviews but the Muntham Apartments is so good I couldn't not. Beautifully styled room, wonderful bed and very high end appliances in the kitchen. There is everything you could possibly want in a very unique and beautiful house. We stay in a lot of dog friendly places but the very friendly hosts even provide a doggy hamper with towels, blankets, treats and a new tennis ball. Quite rare to find such a luxury apartment that is also dog friendly. Can't recommend highly enough

My family and I have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Town House. Absolutely beautiful accommodation that cannot be faulted, we were so impressed. The decor is lovely, stylish but comfortable too. The house is so well equipped, we were impressed with the extras... biscuits and Prosecco, lots of towels, hangers and cleaning products. The garden and hot tub were also fantastic. Thank you to our hosts Adam and Grant, who were friendly and helpful. The whole experience was fabulous. 10/10 all the way. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Communication was good from booking to arriving. Any questions were answered promptly. Upon arrival, we were shown around, given a map, offered advice about places to visit and places that were doggy friendly. Entering our apartment, we were pleasantly pleased to see it was exactly as the photos online. Quite often, the photos provided are not, in fact, what you end up with. Everything was provided, all utensils, etc, a basket with doggie necessities and little treats, treats for us. The place was immaculate right down to the skirting boards!! I can not recommend these apartments enough. You won't be disappointed. 5 stars plus !!!!

We had a fabulous weekend at this beautiful apartment.. Spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard, could not fault it. The bed was really comfy too.. We took our Springer Spaniel and he loved it, particularly the treats 😀 They even provide throws for the settee so he could sit next to us. The hosts were really friendly. Just perfect and highly recommended.

My husband and I have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Muntham apartments, we've had such a fabulous time here. The apartment was spacious and had everything you could wish for and a great base to explore Torquay and the surrounding area. Would recommend this as a place to stay for friends and family without hesitation. Thank you.

We had an excellent experience staying at Muntham. A very warm welcome by the owners including some goodies of cake, biscuits, milk and soft drinks. We stayed in apartment 2 for 12 nights, overlooking the garden (the squirrel attracted a lot of attention from our dog!), the apartment is extremely well appointed and tastefully decorated, they seem to have thought of everything. Comfortable mattress with quality bedding, lots of fluffy towels in the bathroom, fully equipped kitchen. Lovely walks in all directions. Home from home and very highly recommended.

We are a 15 minute walk to the harbour all down hill and we have a great bus service a few minutes walk from the apartments, only 3 stops if you don't want to walk back.
There are more places to choose from in the Torquay area.
