Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Warm rooms, clean hotel, fabulous tribute bands, food hot and delicious, friendly staff.travelled by coach from Wales but journey took over 6hrs, due to pick ups in England as well. Far to long just sitting on a coach . Suggest a feeder bus to join coach at service station .

We have just returned from another fantastic weekend, we have stayed there many times and always enjoy ourselves. Nothing is to much trouble with the staff and they are all friendly. We enjoyed the tributes Tom Jones, Michael Buble, the 11 year old lad that sang, he had so much confidence, especially when he gave the garlands and ribbons out, also the Jursey Boys were really good. Our room was just as we had asked for on the ground floor. Karen the restaurant manager was very attentive and very friendly as usual also the bar staff were efficent. Steve Lester was brilliant especially when he sang 'Alice', so funny and he had the audience joining in. We went on the trips and Dean and John were very good and took us sightseeing round Torbay and Babbacombe on the way back to the hotel. All in all a very good weekend, we did not want to leave, however we will look forward to our next break very soon. Best wishes to all the staff.

My wife and I have tried other travel companies and different venues/locations but always return to Majestic's Templestow which has the best welcome, sleeping accomadation and food for the money paid and entertainment that far exceeds that, that's why we return 2/3 times a year.

Just returned from a fabulous weekend at this hotel. Friendly staff to meet us, room key waiting ready to go. Restaurant organisation, top class. Food, great menu and well cooked and prepared. Entertainment again First Class. We saw the resident comedian Steve Laister, a man who knows how to win an audience. He continued over the weekend including an unbelievable last night celebration which featured the Jersey Beyond Tribute Act to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Having seen about 6 Tribute bands to Frankie Valli, these two guys were unbelievable and gave us the best entertainment we have had for many a year. So good in fact we are booking to see them in Bristol in April. Excursions included in the price were all anyone could ask for and we look forward to our next break at the Templestowe Hotel. Well done Staff! If you get the chance to go and see them, don't miss it!

Have just experienced the hotel's first "Tribute Weekend" of the year. Exceptionally high standard of entertainment. Wide range of talents. All staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much bother and they do everything they can to ensure that your stay is a top quality experience. A great weekend that was great value for money. Can't wait to return.

my single room (125) was small but adequate. i like the top floor as you can open the window. l did turn off the radiator but it was still hot in the morning. Bed was comfortable with extra pillow in wardrobe. The food was much improved from previous, visits. The kitchen is always happy to add or subtract items from a different menu. Entertainment was fab, new faces new acts, including audience participation with best fancy dress, and best karaoke. Steve and the usual gang were superb. high quality entertainment. The bar staff are second to none, so obliging with a little wit and a smile. one of the bar staff (can't remember name) sang like John denver ,inbetween serving the bar. I didn't use housekeeping (my choice) but,my room was spotless, and other guests who did use housekeeping said their rooms were spotless each day
