Great location room and breakfast. We were on 4th floor and showers were terrible hardly any flow at all. We Booked as a spa day but the hot tube wasn’t working and hadn’t been for a while. Also indoor pool was cold the spa/gym reception people also confirmed that pool was colder than usual…. When it was one of coldest days of year. 1st December. Yes hotel old but it’s charming and has character. Needs some investment on maintenance I think Hotel stay could of been great but there are certain things that were very disappointing

Hotel has a good location and lovely views. Evening meal at night was a good, but service between course took ages. The main issue I had was the bedroom decor. The 2 chairs were thread bare in places and the curtains were shredded and worn which you should not see in any hotel let alone a 4*. I have contacted the hotel by email and had no response even though I showed the duty manager on the day. Feel disappointed by the lack of response.

Nice hotel with lovely bay view terrace/balcony (obviously on the sea view side when you book!). Friendly staff, good breakfast. Well located for a walk into the harbour area, even the hill isn't too taxing!

Nice holes. Perfectly situated in Torquay. Walking distance from all the shops and restaurants. You can wonder along the harbour looking at the boats or go and shop till you drop. What ever takes your fancy.

Had a lovely afternoon tea and massage at the imperial hotel. My masseuse Jade was really fantastic, it was my first massage and I was a little nervous and she was very kind and gentle. We will definitely be coming back!

Never stayed at a Hampton Hotel before but would do so again. The breakfast was outstanding. The staff very friendly. Room clean and tidy. Bar and lounge area good and the bar prices not too expensive

Sadly this was the worst service and food for this special BBN awards night. After a formal complaint to the GM Aneta I was told I will get a feedback after a few days - till today nothing ! No apology or compensation. Looks like they cant be bothered. Shame on the Head Chef Zibi that could not deliver - food was cold - dry beef and the food was not as described on the menu. Our chefs had to taste this food and we are ashamed that a so called chef with rosette standard was delivering this bad meal (he was present that night). Probably best to choose an other venue for the next BBN awards night that put more effort in it. I can assure you that I am not alone with this opinion - its 20 of us ! Things need to change for the better before any of us will return.

We booked a twin room and was give a room with 2 bedrooms ,one double bed and one with 2 twin beds , so we had loads of room .We eat diner and breakfast in the hotel both meals were great , lovely breakfast buffet ,Super view out of the restaurant across Torbay. The parking was on site and reasonably priced ,Will defiantly go back for another stay .

From the moment we arrived, staff were extremely courteous and friendly; daily cleaning and linen renewal really marked the Imperial down as 'class'; most impressive of all is the 220 degree view of the whole Bay, lit at night; meals were high standard with many options, served with a smile and nothing too much trouble for any and all of the staff. Well done!
