Stayed with my wife and dog in the garden room which was great and had everything we needed including tea and coffee . The room was spotless and had towels, flannels, soap.shampoo etc.Was very handy to take Rosie out in the morning for her first walk!. We are vegetarian and vegan and the breakfast was very tasty and varied. Lisa( host) was very friendly and asked daily if we needed anything in our rooms. The location is great as a few minutes walk to Cockington country park and the beach the opposite way. Would definitely return again.

I stayed here in October half term with a member of my family. We stayed in the family room. The room was large and really nicely decorated. We had a great breakfast each day with a large selection. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is walking distance to the village of Cockington as well as an easy walk to the train and into town. Hotel is also convenient to the lical buses. Thank you.

Recently stayed here at the CHarterhouse for our wedding anniversary Lovely place to stay ,very clean and the room had everything we needed and had top up of any supplies in the room if required. The breakfast was superb and CHristophe,s mushrooms were the best I have tasted Lisa and CHristope were the perfect hosts and very welcoming , and anything we needed was never a problem Location was great just a short walk to a Tao bay beach and town and we found places to eat easily in the evening without booking. Lisa left some chocolates as a lovely surprise for our anniversary Very happy would definitely make a return visit.

We had a lovely stay over August bank holiday, considering all what’s going on at the moment. The owners are very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you, and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is excellent and very clean and tidy, and we couldn’t ask for anymore. The breakfast was excellent, and more than enough. All in all a fantastic place to stay, with excellent hosts, and if your thinking if staying in Torquay I think you would struggle to find a better place.
