Great historic hotel. yes this is a 'coach' hotel, but it's far one of the best in Torbay (you should also try their sister hotel 'the palace in paignton') views from the hotel are to die for, and value for money you cant get any better (for DB&B) - you should look up the

Enjoyed my stay at the Headlands. Room and bed excellent, shower a little on the small side. Good food both breakfast & dinner. Very helpful staff. Only downside was location as due to mobility issues we needed to take the car or taxis if we wanted to leave the hotel

Yes - the use of the pool is free - but there is a charge for spa treatments unless it was specifically included in your package.

There is a taxi service from the hotel into Torquay harbour and town, 5MINS the taxi could also drop you off by the beach too, or it is a 5 minute walk from the harbour. You could also walk to the harbour and beach from the hotel, but it is quite a steep hill, it takes about 20 to 25 mins

Looking at this for a coach trip Turkey and Tinsel, any feedback if it's good and what goes On please
I stayed here in May and the hotel, staff and food was very good. I have done T & T trips in the past and I would think this would be suitable. It is out of the town but the hotel laid on taxis to take us to Torquay and pick us up in the late afternoon. I am not sure what time of year you are going, you would have to check whether some of the places of interest are open at that time of year. There was entertainment every evening - it started with bingo and then there were singers etc.
