what a wonderful stay me and my wife had. Greeted by the owner and although we were early he was so pleasant and even got the bar open so we could have a pint before or room was ready, which was only a matter of minutes. What a beautiful room we had, lovely and spacious and there in the middle...

Not a bad place to stay for a few days away. Our experience was a lovely one.. staff were polite, room was clean, breakfast was yummy. Cant understand some of the bad reviews for this place, they seemed a little unfair, we found it good value for money. Located in an ideal spot just a walk away from the harbour...

If you chose this hotel do not have room 2 on ground floor, they class this as a family room as there is a single bed and a double bed separated by a wall both beds are against the wall okay for the single not good for the double as you have to climb over your partner or climb to...

Myself and a friend stayed at this hotel for one night whilst in Torquay for a show at the Princess Theatre. Despite reading unfavorable reviews we decided to ignore them as the hotel was in our price range and close to amenities and also for only one night. We were greeted by the owner ,checked in and directed to our...

We booked this at the last minute and the greeting from the owner was a pleasure. Nothing was too much trouble and the hotel although basic offers a friendly homely atmosphere. The bar is open until 11 pm ad the prices were reasonable. Even the wine was acceptable and palatable. The rooms are a bit dated but they are comfortable...

Decided to spend a weekend in Torquay, and found this hotel which had an offer on. I paid less than seventy pounds for two nights, so I wasn't expecting much - but I was very pleasantly surprised. Yes, the carpets are not brand new, and neither is the furniture, but the Yardley Manor does a lot of things very well,...

Great location, friendly staff, family run business, close to the town centre, restaurants, cafes free parking & wifi. Rooms were great & reasonably priced. Breakfast is also available. Ferry ride to Brixham was only £3 and was enjoyable.

Excellent value. Stayed for two nights in very comfortable room. Hand and shower soap was included, which was good as I'd forgotten mine! Breakfast was fantastic value. Excellent location to harbour in Torquay, though needed a taxi down and back as hill was steep for "tired senior citizens!". There could have been more leaflets on local activities, such as Open...
