The Sandpiper is a very lovely guest house. The room was clean to a very high standard. The breakfast was the best I have ever had. The hosts did not communicate at all which was a sad, Felt at breakfast the lady who gave the breakfast could of interacted with us as much as she did others. Other than that we enjoyed my 60th birthday very much
A very well presented and well run guest house. Stayed a couple nights in October found everything very clean and comfy. Good quiet location walking distance from sea front and town . Good covid practices in place .
We stayed here on a Saturday and Sunday night. The hotel is in a great place with its own off street parking, just a short walk to the town or the sea front and in a nice quiet road. The room was lovely, plenty of room with a super comfy king size bed. Very clean and well presented. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Loved the little cosy bar in the basement and there was also a nice garden and patio. We were very well looked after. Would definitely stay here again.
Lovely guest house with everything spotlessly clean and Covid aware, breakfast was superb Our room was a bit on the small side but had everything that you needed in it and immaculate.Nice and quiet location with about 10 minute walk to the front . The bar was mentioned when we arrived but was not open on night which was a shame
After many years we returned to Torquay on the first leg of our journey to the west country, we stayed 2 nights at the Sandpiper. Lovely guesthouse, offering a friendly welcome, everything spotlessly clean and covid awareness, with clear guidance around the property. The breakfast system with timed entry and full order system the night before, lead to a very efficient and controlled service. The location is a bit away from the centre for which we used the car due to mobility issues, for fit people it would not be a problem. One night we had to park on the street due to the car park being full on our return, not a problem. Everything in the well presented room was fully working and well decorated, our only thing was it was located on the second floor, my fault for not asking for a low floor room on booking, did not spoil our stay. Overall a lovely, friendly, start to our holiday, and would highly reccomend.…
