The hotel reception, bar area and dining area have been decorated and give a good impression on arrival. The corridors to our room were desperately in need of attention. The room seemed clean enough but tatty. The radio was so old I expected to hear the light programme on it. Plenty of food, buffet style,at meal times with attentive staff. There...

As most people I look at reviews on here and have to say I was a bit worried about what to expect. The main reason I booked was because it was unbelievably cheap. Including breakfast and evening meal. I figured as long as the bed was clean and food was edible I could live with any issues for the price...

We spent 5 day's at the Trecarn. Cannot fault the staff they where very friendly and helpfull. The hotel is in need of a makeover as there has been leaks and you can see the damp on the ceilings in the lounge/bar area. The rooms where average and looks as if they had been recently painted. The bathroom could do...

The refurbished part is brighter and (cleaner ) The food is of a very low standard and Hygiene poor. No Fire Safety signs, trip hazards...

The hotel now benefits from well-appointed lounge areas, large entertainment suite and bar. The restaurant has been completely re-styled and now offers a spacious and contemporary dining experience. After enjoying the renowned entertainments the hotel has to offer, you should also sleep better than ever as we have also refurbished 62 of the hotel's bedrooms!
