We had a midweek visit with Middleton's Tours, The hotel was comfortable and the staff were very attentive. Breakfast was a buffet, as was dinner although described as a carvery, with a vegetarian option and an option for non-vegetarians. The vegetarian option, according to one vegetarian could have been improved on, but there was as much food as you could...

The hotel is dated but they are at least trying to do it up, they were painting whilst we were there. The food was fab but it was carvery every day with a further choice of two different meals. This suited me as there was always something for me to eat and it was lovely and fresh. Breakfast had all...

We were lost. Google Maps wasn’t much help and a sat nav that gave your latitude and longitude useful only if we were navigating across the Bering Straits or about to re-enter the Earth’s atmosphere after a mission to Mars. But we were doing neither and on the ‘lost’ scale, this was right up there. My partner rolled her eyes...

Warm friendly welcome from Reception, and modern well furnished bar and restaurant meant first impressions were good on arrival. However, entering the bedroom was like going back to the 60s or 70s, which I think is the last time it had any sort of make-over. Even the bed still had blankets and a bedspread rather than a duvet! I specifically...

Spent four days and three nights and had a good time with Gibbons Coach holidays. Plenty of choice at the self service breakfast and evening meal. Three different soups, two meats as well as three specials. I was really surprised at the choice and quality of food served. Staff are friendly, evening entertainment is very good and the service was...
