Great hotel near to the harbour. It is a little hilly to walk upto and does have quite a few steps to climb. Small car park, we were lucky to get a place, however there is plenty of free parking in the nearby street. The room was very clean, lovely decor. The shower room was small but perfectly adequate. Plenty...

A beautiful hotel in a great location in Torquay. A street back from the main road in Torquay, meaning it is close to all the action, but quiet. Very comfortable hotel, Amazing breakfasts and owners who are second to none ! So friendly and helpful. Felt so, so welcome. Plus the view from our window was stunning. Would love to...

Our hosts were really welcoming friendly and helpful. The breakfast was of typical fare but there were some nice options available...

We travelled down to Torquay for a 3 day stay from Staffordshire. After a near 4 hour drive we were treated to a big welcome and lovely cup of tea by Chen. This was the first time we have ever been offered a drink on arrival and was a lovely touch. Nick and Chen may be new owners but they...

My wife and I visit Torquay a couple of times every year to catch up with elderly relatives, who are too frail to travel on their own these days, and we have stayed at The Shirley on our last couple of visits. When we arrived this time we found that Garry and Debbie had sold the establishment, but the new...
