We have just returned from a weekend staying at the Abbeyfield and all I can say is excellent, the rooms are spottless, the breakfast is fantastic there is everything you could ask for from cereal, porridge, fresh fruit and a cooked breakfast with as much toast as you want, and Jeff and his wife are the perfect hosts, I would say that...

We recommend the Abbeyfield Hotel located about 20 minutes walk from harbour or a short bus ride from outside of the hotel to the harbour. The hotel was very clean and the decor was nice - a credit to Jeff and Sandra. The breakfast was plentiful and good quality. We received a very warm welcome and Jeff supplied plenty of...

We highly recommend the Abbeyfield Hotel. It is well located, easy walking distance to the town centre and sea front. Jeff and Sandra were the perfect hosts with a wealth of useful local information. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and attention to detail is second to none. The breakfasts were superbly cooked to our individual preferences with a great variety to...

We stayed 7 nights B&B at the Abbeyfield Hotel and were delighted with everything about it. It is a good location, the hosts, Sandra & Jeff were most friendly & helpful and the breakfasts were superb, both in quantity & quality. The building is spotless throughout and the area is very peaceful, being in a cul de sac. There is...

Hotel was well located, only 20 minute walk from Torquay front (£5 or £6 trip by taxi if weather poor) Room was compact, spotlessly clean, extremely well presented and lacked for nothing. Jeff & Sandra were perfect hosts, very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfasts were excellent. Would definitely visit again, and would recommend to anyone.

On arrival of our 4 night break we had a friendly welcoming from Jeff. We were also given a map of the area which included places of interest to visit which was very useful. We even went to the theater which we have not done for years. The double room was spotless with a lovely en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was excellent...

Jeff & Sandra made us very welcome on our arrival for our 3 night break. Gave us lots of info about Torquay and surrounding areas. Our ground floor room which we had was spotlessly clean and comfortable overlooking the garden. A very homely hotel beautifully furnished.A really lovely cooked breakfast which set us up for the day. We would highly...

The four nights we stayed at the Abbeyfield was the best short break we have had for a long time. Jeff & Sandra gave a warm welcome and a review of the area, bus routs, and places to eat. The 32 bus stops 20 m from the hotel which will connect you with all the bus routs in the area....

Just had a three night stay at Abbeyfield. There's room for all guest vehicles to park outside. We have a small campervan which we left for the duration. Extremely clean and well decorated, comfortable room (3) with a small annex. We heard no noise and slept really well. Breakfast was all you could wish for. Jeff was on hand if...
