My wife and I recently stayed for 4 nights at Trafalgar House and were delighted that we have found another gem in Devon.Neil is the perfect host , very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.The accommodation is excellent with not a spec of dust anywhere. . We had a couple of nights stay here! The host was very hospitable, charming, and informative of the area. Trafalgar House, is an immaculate little hotel in the heart of Torquay. Everywhere was very clean and comfortable. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Trafalgar House is just under 10 minutes walk from the sea front in Torquay ... but even closer to the magnificent Torre Abbey and the seafront gardens. Greated at the door when we arrived by Neil very warm and friendly. He gave us a map of Torquay and recommended places to eat . Perfect setting , close to town; we enjoyed walking to dinner and back both nights we stayed, absolutely delicious breakfasts. Would highly recommend .

We stayed here for seven nights and haven't a bad word word to say about the place. The Hotel was immaculate, Neil was a very attentive host always courteous and helpful. The host Neil was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Coffee on arrival was a nice touch. The room was very clean, attractively decorated and comfortable. Neil is a very good host, this b/b is very clean and tidy, breakfast was spot on,with a good choice of food, i would recommend anyone looking for a nice b/b to stay here , im sure you wont be disappointed.

Trafalgar House is perfectly located on the English Riviera in Torquay, so as to be within easily walking distance of the Marina, Harbour, town and coast, yet being set 700 metres away in a calm, tree lined road it is a wonderful place to come back to after an active day. Guests can relax in the sub-tropical garden or in the guest lounge with a glass of wine. Recently fully refurbished all the rooms and open guest areas are tastefully decorated, light, bright and airy. We are very proud of the breakfasts which offer a large choice of freshly prepared fruit, cereals, youghurts and fruit juice, followed by a wide menu selection of cooked breakfasts or continental choices. We are perfectly located so guests can enjoy the many sites and activities in the area:- Coastal walks are stunning, National Trust properties: Coleton Fishacre, Greenway Mansion and Killerton are all only a short drive away. Dartmoor National Park is also within 30 minutes. Boat Trips, Steam Railway trips, Caverns and a coastline of world renown, Cockington, Dartmouth and Totnes great places to visit as well as many other Devon villages. Golf, Bowls, Crazy golf and tennis are all available within 600 metres. There are many many more things to do and places to visit. We are also fortunate to have a vast range of excellent restaurants in the town and surrounding areas.
