This was our second stay with Paul & Suzy at Marmalade B&B in Torquay. Once again a fabulous welcome from the hosts who gladly shared their home with us for 4 nights. Ideal base for visiting many of the nearby beaches and places such as Dartmoor, Dartmouth Tavistock Teignmouth and Dawlish. Lovely room named “Bergamot” en suite bathroom with luxury shower. Breakfast is lovely and plentiful and nothing is too much to ask for being it a full English or eggs on toast etc with cereals and fresh fruit and yogurt tea and coffee freshly made to order. There is parking available and close by a rail link. Another fabulous holiday made more so by Paul & Suzy’s lovely welcome Recommended 10/10

I'm so pleased we booked to stay a few days at Marmalade B&B , the hosts were a fabulous couple called Paul & Suzy who made our stay as comfortable as they could and went above and beyond to help us or get us things for our room etc. We had a lovely, freshly cooked, hot breakfast cooked fresh to order by Suzy, which was delicious. The bedroom was comfortable and had everything in it. Suzy even made little cakes in our room to welcome us, what a lovely touch mmmmm! Thank you! We would definitely recommend you stay here and if were back up that way we will definitely be booking again. Thank you Paul & Suzy , love Lynn & Peter Sells xx

Just back from a 4 night stay here. Paul and Suzy were very welcoming, our room (Clementine) was clean, light, airy and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the en-suite was clean and large. Decor needs updating but the welcome and the owner’s friendliness and local knowledge was excellent. Location is good for Torre station. Breakfast is served at specific times.

Suzy and Paul are the nicest couple and brilliant hosts, we arrived on my Birthday, to my amazement a card and box of chocs were waiting, how kind and thoughtful from people we had only just met, alongside cup cakes, fresh milk, and water in a fridge. The rooms are lovely, the mattress is a hypnos never slept better on Egyptian Cotton Linen, the best breakfast and plenty of it to set you up for the day. The train station is minutes away, the walk into Torquay is about 15 minutes well worth the walk to the shops and Harbour. Would not hesitate in booking again 10/10.

Lovely B & B Suzy & Paul were so friendly the place is spotless decorated to a very high standard ,lovely welcome flowers in lobby ,very clean room a little small but hey it’s only a base plenty of drawer space plus wardrobe with a small fridge welcome water ,sweets ,and cakes ,perfect ,comfy bed small tv shower is to die for so gentle ,all the usual toiletries very nice ,good full English breakfast ,cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit ,juice, tea ,coffee.About 15 mins to beach and it took us 30 into town but we just stroll it’s all flat .I would recommend this B & B nothing was to much trouble for this couple only 3 rooms so parking was easy ,we had a lovely stay so thank you Suzy & Paul.

Lovely place to stay . We will definitely return again. Would definitely recommend it . Stayed beginning of December as we have friends in Torquay. Room was lovely and clean . Very relaxing . Breakfast was lovely . The owners friendly . Made us feel at home .

Another wonderful stay at the Marmalade B and B. Thank you Suzi and Paul for looking after us so well during our stay. Suzi and Paul are exceptional hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The Marmalade guest house B&B Exceptional holiday venue spotless rooms very well equiped and well ventilated with modern furniture and great design decor features good shower and even a very useful fridge the breakfast again was excellent and a vast array of choices was second to none but what realy made the difference was the hosts a extra ordinary couple who were world travelers with a massive experiance in the best of best service and etiquette Paul & Sally spoilt us and other guests daily we will return for sure & wish them the kindest regards possible for the future true prize guys in every respect.

The breakfast was excellent and Susi offered a wide choice of options. The hosts were friendly and very informative and were flexible about using car parking facilities before check-in and after check-out. They have made a conscious decision not to have check-ins on the day that the previous guest checks out. This avoids pressurising the guest to check-out in a rush. Generous amount of power sockets by the desk for charging phones, etc and for using a laptop. Wi-Fi had a good signal. The small fridge in the room was very welcome for keeping drinks cold.

Just got back from wonderful few days in Torquay. The Marmalade b&b was a lovely little place, welcoming and very comfortable and just a short walk to the beach. Suzy and Paul where the perfect hosts, breakfast was lovely and nothing was too much trouble and their knowledge of the surrounding area was amazing. They gave us a run down of the good places to visit and places to eat. We followed their recommendations a few times while we were there and had a great time.
