Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Property's Favourite Review
Excellent location, beach is close at end of the road. Rooms are spotlessly clean, plenty hot water, lovely furniture and nicely decorated. Jasper our host is charming and hospitable, great breakfast, little plate of fresh fruit each morning is a lovely touch as is the cakes in room on arrival and after cleaning. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in this excellent accommodation with some lovely stylish touches which exuded an air of calm. We chose 'Heather' which has recently been refurnished to a very high standard and was pristine. Comfortable bed, excellent shower and peaceful stay. Really appreciated the freshly cooked biscuits and cakes left in our room, especially as they were gluten free, thank you Eli. On offer are great freshly cooked breakfast options which were delicious. Beach Lodge is only a minute from the beach so great for a stroll along the seafront. We were able to park outside the property which was really convenient.

Room Tip: We visited in November so parking wasn't a problem. Might be best to double check parking options...

The best bed and breakfast in Bournemouth and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Great welcome always and best value for money - clean beautiful big rooms and beds - thank you as always xx this time we stayed in Cedar Cottage - a great space and would be amazing in the summer with its own outside space so near to the beach.

We have been to Beach Lodge on several occasions and it was up to its usual high standards. Thank you, Agnes for looking after us so well and providing delicious breakfasts. The fresh cakes in the room each day were much appreciated as was the great shower room (Holly). It is in such a good location too - so close to the sea, free parking and walking distance to top quality restaurants. I'm sure we'll be back!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay for the weekend, came home home feeling very relaxed. Casper and Ellie offered a very warm welcome, room was very comfortable even had a Lavazza coffee machine so was thoroughly spoilt by having an early morning coffee before breakfast, great shower and the cakes were a very welcome treat. Its literally a stones through from the top of the cliff, one way to Hengistbury Head or the other way into Boscombe, lots of nice places to eat in the High Street in Southbourne (5 min walk away) Breakfast was amazing, nice fruit platter to start with yogurt, muesli, granola and cereal, great homecooked breakfast with plenty of choices and lovely bread selection too. They have off road parking available Would highly recommend The Beach Lodge!

Casper and Elisabetta are the most wonderful hosts of this gorgeous b&b. This was our third time staying at Beach Lodge and we were not disappointed. The rooms are gorgeous and breakfast incredible. We have recommended Beach Lodge to friend and family over the years.

Beach Lodge Bournemouth Beach Lodge is a very nice BB with spacious, luxurious and very clean bedrooms. It is around the corner from the promenade with a lovely beach. Casper is a great host who provides you with all kinds of tips for a nice stay in Bournmouth. The choices for breakfast are huge and everything is fantastically prepared and tastes great. We will definitely return to Beach Lodge when we are in England again.
