Staying at travelodge up the road and decided to have a look at Hop Inn menu outside very good value we called in for a drink on Monday 13th very nice staff good atmosphere we asked if we had to book for Tuesday 14th but didn't have to, so went in about 530ish, clean and tidy, they've got it set...

A lovely Pub near to the town centre. easy parking.Frequent enterainment nights and always the best sports on tv .good friendly staff good atmosphere .The food was excellent and very reasonable prized.Rooms large and reasonable prized to .

Nice local pub with accommodation we had great fish and chips including bread and butter very reasonably priced London Pride beer super only 5mins from beach and pier about 10mins from town centre good sized seating area outside

Stopped off here for lunch as we saw the sign "Two meals for £10". After we had parked and walked ten minutes to the bar we saw the small print, Monday to Thursday. It was Saturday. Popped in as staying at the Wessex. Had London Pride beer and it was awful. Ordered curry and fish and chips. Chicken still had the chewy bits still on and there was very little fish in the batter. For the cost of the meal it was very poor. On the plus side the staff were very good and I would...

Visited the Hop Inn for breakfast over 3 days while staying at adjacent Travelodge. I had the full English on two days - freshly cooked to order by the chef and the food was great every time we eat there. My partner had scrambled egg on toast as well as trying a breakfast. She said it was all well cooked....

This is not about the Hop Inn itself it is to do with the Fish and Chip Shop attached to it From this shop on Saturday 17th December 2016 I bought 2 fish\chip takeaway meals the fish was off colour/slimey/tastless as for the chips they should of been sold with a health hazard ticket as the chips 100% had been...

Me and two friends stayed here for one night for the madness concert. I have to say I cldnt fault it for the price. Arrived at the pub which was very busy at the time, couldn't access through accommodation door as looked so had to lugg big heavy bags through the busy pub. No parking very hard to get park somewhere , drove round the block twice hopeing someone would have left a space. Staff were very lovely when we did get to the...

Great food and friendly pub suiting all ages. Food good quality and good prices, a must if you ate not eating in your hotel or for an evening meal out. The service is quick and staff are friendly and eager to help.
