If your looking for a good value, clean & convenient Hotel in Bournemouth this is the one to book. It by far exceeded our expectation. Small car park on site probably holds about 12 cars. First impressions; reception clean and staff friendly & helpful . The hotel has recently undergone a refurbishment, freshly decorated interior & new beds & mattresses ( very comfortable). Our room was very clean with Tea & Coffee making facilities . Shower room again clean with lots of hot water. Comfy beds & flat screen tv. In the morning an excellent breakfast served by friendly efficient staff. It’s a two star hotel which probably deserves to be three star! Would highly recommend this budget hotel and will return. Also less than 5 minutes walk to both Bournemouth town centre and the beautiful sandy beaches. …
Ideal for our needs. (Flying visit to relatives in Bournemouth.) Double room perfectly adequate, very comfortable bed led to a great night’s sleep; breakfast very pleasant. Very tight on parking, but leave your keys at reception and they will move your car (carefully) if necessary.
Stayed with my wife and my kid for a long weekend. The owner of the hotel kindly offered the baby cot as I forgot to book a room including kid. The receptionist was not rude but not friendly either. We ordered take away on Friday night and I was hoping to eat it in the bar as there was only one chair in our small room and ants crawling on the table! The guy said you can eat it outside but not at the bar (there were only two guys in the bar at that time). The ventilation in the room was below par. Social distancing was my major concern while having breakfast. Staff were not wearing a mask when serving breakfast and there were no social distancing in the eating area - circa 15 - 20 people having breakfast in a relatively small dining room.
I stayed here as a family of 4 from Monday to Friday. The staff were very helpful, polite and recommended places to visit and where to go and eat during our stay. We were told we could order takeaways to the B&B and that they would happily provide plates and cutlery. We stayed in bedroom 17 on the top floor... Spacious, clean and a decent shower. Children enjoyed the cereal bar and juices in the morning. Breakfast was good. Located close to all amenities. Thank you for a pleasant stay and good luck with the hot tub installation!
I would stay at this hotel again mainly because of the location. Its quiet enough and very near to the town. The staff wasn't rude but not very friendly either. You pay £10 for parking which isn't informed prior to your stay, so be prepared to pay for it. Also its a small car park, so be prepared to either block others in or be blocked in. The ambiance.... The carpet needs to get a good deep clean, in the lobby area. The room was snug, not enough windows in room 16 for the summer, but it wasn't an unbearable heat as it was a windy day. The bathroom was cleanish but i did a bit extra cleaning. The breakfast... I don't like runny eggs, and they couldnt get it right, it wasn't well done enough, maybe they should consider doing scrambled eggs to be on the safe side. The cereal containers were dusty to the top, that was a turn off, but there was a wide variety. The juice glasses are kids size so i had to make a few trips for top ups. Like i said I would stay again probably, no guarantees, because of the location. It is a place to rest your head and get busy during the day.…
