I recently went back for a three night stay at The Grove and I was happy to find it was as good as ever. Polite friendly staff who will always go that extra mile if needed. The food and service was excellent. It’s always good to have really hot plates! The rooms are clean and comfy and they are upgrading some of the beds to multi-positional beds for patient comfort. So thoughtful. I’ll be going back there to be sure.

You will not be disappointed with your stay at The Grove from the moment you arrive until you leave. You can expect a warm welcome and everyone is very friendly. The en suite rooms are modern and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and there is also a safe. The restaurant serves lovely food with an endless choice for breakfast. There is a beach hut available for use, free, and also a minibus which is used for outings. Although there are facilities for people who need them The Grove just feels like a normal hotel in an excellent position for going out or just relaxing. It is a place you will want to return to...I have been 6 times!

The Grove is a really lovely hotel, staff are friendly, food is great. Stayed here on a health workers break, rooms are spacious and comfortable with en-suite shower room tea, coffee and biscuits and tv. The hotel also has a beach hut (free to use) and a mini bus for trips around the area. The hotel staff are friendly, caring and very helpful. Would definitely recommend if you need a respite break.

We visited this place on the recommendation of the staff at the local hospital and the hotel was everything they said it was. In terms of bricks and mortar the hotel is similar to a number of other hotels in Bournemouth, albeit spotlessly clean, with very good food and well maintained. The unique part is the ethos of the hotel to make everyone's stay as enjoyable as possible, with the added comfort of having a nurse on site 24 hours a day. This ethos seems to have been taken in board by all the staff and volunteers who without fail were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel provided film evenings, entertainment and trips out all of which were enjoyed by the residents to much fun and laughter.

Came here with my aunt after she just finished chemo , from the moment we walked in the doors everyone was friendly . Staff couldn’t help enough. The room was brilliant wet room with power shower . Very comfy beds . Food was excellent 5*. Nurse on site who checked daily on you . Entrainment was very good . We also recommend going on the free trips out with Gavin , he was funny and made the trips enjoyable . This trip was funded by Macmillan , but if we had paid for it it would of been worth every penny . We made some lovely memories. Can’t recommend this place enough .
