Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Booking Easy to complete and contact was made by Ed and Laura who kept us informed about promenade opening earlier than advertised. Un/Loading Cases etc The promenade is open at the start (check-out) and end (arrival) which saves the walk down zig zag (obviously steep) path. You can park your car the other side of Boscombe Pier with a voucher from the team or at the top of the zig zag path (no parking restrictions). Property Equipped with all that you need. Beach front property.

Spent Christmas in the Beach Lodge with family and had a relaxing break even though the weather was wet and windy we were all warm and cosy. Dog had a great time on the beach every day. Lovely touch on arrival at the Lodge to find it was decorated and welcoming ready for the festivities. Beach Lodge team worked really hard to make it all possible.

Wonderful Christmas break by the sea ... stormy but invigorating! Very clean and well presented (and festively decorated) first class beach huts. They'd thought of pretty much everything we needed, would highly recommend. If it's good enough for Gone Fishing's Ted - it must be perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff too. We will return ...

5-Jun-23 Bournemouth Beach Lodges: Had the most amazing 4 night stay on my own during a beautifully sunny and warm week in June. The staff are so incredibly helpful and really do their upmost to ensure that everyone is happy, whether that's additional linen or local information. They offer little carts to help bring luggage up / down the zig zag, but you can also put your car on the promenade at certain times, which is great for first / last day. It's just ten mins walk to the roundabout by the Harvester, from which you can get regular, open top in the good weather, busses into the town centre or East to Hengistbury and beyond. They're a great value way to get around and sight see. The lodges are very well equipped. I just brought large mugs as the ones supplied are small and I'm a tea guzzler! I can't wait to return for another visit.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bournmouth Beach Lodges. The lodge was very clean and everything shone. It was equipped with all you could want for a short or longer stay. The views from the lodges are amazing and what a wonderful, safe and clean beach. The walk up and down to the lodges from where you park your car, is fairly steep but you are warned about this on the website. We felt very safe when walking around the area in the evening. We would love to stay again in the future.

Very well located and extremely well equipped, charming beach lodges with lovely seafront views. Perfect for families, including having a safe space to lock up bikes/play ball games etc. Extremely clean and well thought out space which sleeps 6 comfortably, although during wet weather it would feel overcrowded for 6 as you wouldn’t be able to est out on the deck.

We stayed at the lodge from Friday to Monday - it was so beautiful! Unbelievable views, so well designed, clean and well maintained. We loved our time here and would certainly be happy to come back again! The small kitchen was well equipped and clean. The shower was hot and bathroom was small but perfect. The table closed up to make room for a pull out double bed downstairs. The views were unbeatable, so close to the stunning sandy beach. Loved every moment!

I have been to BBL twice, sadly due to the pandemic a 5 year gap between each visit! (We were due to go in 2020 as well!), firstly, as a couple with my partner and now with a 2.5 year old son. I can honestly say that on both occasions, BBL exceeded expectations. As a couple it is a funky, unique and show stopping destination. Now it is a family friendly, fun and practical destination for a beach holiday (the baby gates are a god send!). The ‘zig zag’ hill to the parking is steep, but trolleys are available from reception to help. Deliveroo deliver to Boscombe Pier so don’t take as much food as you think you’ll need. Little ones love the land train from Boscombe Pier along the promenade to Bournemouth Pier and then on to Chine Beach. Absolutely fantastic and it’s free if you show your lodge key. My only quarm is that for my liking the beds are a little hard and the duvets a little thick. We will be back.. in the meantime I will think of a cup of tea on the deck as the sun rises, a G&T there as the sun sets. And the look of glee on my sons face as he realised that this was ‘home’ for the next few days!
