We booked the whole building for a big birthday celebration for two nights in October. There were 17 of us. The first thing we noticed was the lack of the large reception room at the front of the house which, in the publicity, had been a kitchen with a dining table which would seat us all. This room had been locked off from the rest of the house (see photo), and the conservatory had had a small kitchen put into it. The dining table, which was now in the conservatory at the back of the house, which we had SO hoped to all be able to gather around to eat, only seated 10 which was a big let-down. The little sitting room with the owners desk/office space in it wasn't big enough for us all to sit either (see photo), so there was nowhere we could all be together. Oddly (and somewhat illegally!) the door to a toilet, which had obviously been put in when the conservatory was a living space rather than the kitchen, now opened right beside the kettle and microwave! (see photo). The bedrooms were generally ok, but a bit tired and shabby. Several of the bathrooms had no plugs in the basins, there was a small hole in the wall on the top landing, the bathroom door didn't close in one room, another had a big burn on the carpet etc etc etc. I've posted a photo of one of the showers, which is typical. There was no hot water while we were at the house - we even had to boil kettles to wash up! There's NO off street parking, and it's really hard to find a space on the roads outside. I think the house is more usually let as individual bed-sitting type rooms, so lots of the bedrooms have fridges in them. This would actually fit in better with the general feel and appearance of the area which is a bit down-at heel and, at night, rather scary!

Lovely hotel stay with my family. The owner helpfully changed our room upon hearing we were travelling with a baby, which made life easier as she placed us on the 1st floor from the top floor. The room was pleasant enough and there was a communal area downstairs with kitchen with all the amenities. Beach was only a 5 minute walk and some lovely vegan restaurants nearby.

Lovely Guest house, Chanine the owner is very accommodating, nothing is too much trouble, very clean and lovely decor, very close to the beach and town, this place has a very positive energy and relaxed atmosphere, you can also rent out the whole house for bigger parties which is great for large groups or families. We'll definitely be returning.

Another wonderful stay in the heart of Bournemouth. With a great host, central location, close to the beach and town, and full use of the kitchen and lounge area, this stay is perfect for families or anyone willing to save a few pennies by eating in from time to time. It's our second stay and won't be our last.

We’ve just returned from the most wonderful hen weekend at the Boho! We were a group of 10 and didn’t want to leave. The vibe feels like a cosy home and real care and attention has gone into every corner of the house with gorgeously quirky little touches everywhere. Rooms are fabulous, with lovely en suites, comfy beds, and good quality bedding. Kitchen is a fabulous communal area with huge banquet table perfect for meals and games. The lounge is lovely and cosy too. All the surrounding roads are free to park on and we found 6 spaces for the whole weekend. It’s also located perfectly to walk to the beach, bars, restaurants, and town. And Chanine is a SUPERB host. So friendly, welcoming, and chilled out, and gave us lots of help planning our whole weekend with recommendations for places to go. She let a few of us arrive early to decorate and even helped unpack our shopping. We’re already talking about returning!

Boho is situated at an optimal location. If you are a fan of beaches, it would be your best choice. At the same time, you can wander to the city centre in a minute. There are varieties of cafes, bars and restaurants for you to choose from. Chanine is a welcoming and responsive superhost. The building is nicely decorated with lots of details and personal touch. The room is immaculate with everything you need like electric kettle, tea and coffee, mini fridge, etc. You can either chill in the garden or enjoy cooking in the kitchen with all the cooking basics and tablewares provided. You will never been bored staying in Bournemouth with Boho. Highly recommended.

The Boho Beach House was more than a dream-stay realised. From the moment I walked in- I felt at home, and yet somewhere really cool. Chanine, the owner, truly cares for the atmosphere and details — and you can really feel that when you are there! Everything is pristinely clean and fresh and no chemical detergents only organic naturally derived cleaning products. She keeps the energy upbeat, positive yet very relaxing and you still have your privacy. There is even a beautiful living room , kitchen and garden on the first floor for guests to enjoy. Plus you are only a walk from the beach, and beautiful coastline! This is hands down the very best experience I’ve ever had at a hotel in Bournemouth and I stayed at many other places in town. I really had the opportunity to recharge my batteries and felt totally rejuvenated and relaxed at the end of my stay. I highly recommend this hidden Treasure!! Come here to not only have a hotel stay, but an experience.

Yet another wonderful home-from-home holiday at this hidden gem! Both Chanine and the Boho give off wonderful calm vibes, and we instantly left all our worries at the front door. We stayed in room 4 - with its 4 poster bed and en-suite shower room - clean, tidy and super comfy. The recent renovation of the ground floor back area from a bedroom suite into a communal lounge, kitchen and courtyard garden is an absolute gem! In a lot of hotels/B&Bs you are confined to your room, but not here! You can socialise as much or as little as you like, and this new area really helps give everyone extra space. Chanine is always looking to improve the Boho, and takes all comments on board when making improvements, which really makes it feel like she incorporates a bit of her guests into the feel of the Boho which is a lovely touch. The hotel is in a really convenient location for both the town centre and the beach, and feels very safe and secure. The Boho doesn’t have a car park, but to be honest very few hotels do so close to the town centre! Avenue car park is less than 5 mins walk and provides the cheapest parking nearby in Bournemouth, and there is some street parking. Honestly? We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Bournemouth!
