We came for short weekend visit with a coach party. The hotel was good, a little dated but quite relaxing. The staff were helpful but not one smile between them! The food was good and plentiful. Enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I booked and paid £75 for a double club room at the Royal Bath Hotel via TripAdvisor. We wanted to stay overnight in Bournmouth to see a show at the Pavilion and the hotel was in a good location. On first appearances the hotel seemed beautiful. The European staff on reception could have been a bit more...

I lived in Bournemouth in the 60s and 70s, so remember The Royal Bath in its heyday, being one of the top hotels in the area. With some trepidation, my husband and I booked a long weekend, and were pleasantly surprised. We booked a King Executive double room, and we were delighted with it. Large and airy, yet cosy and...

I tried to lay off writing this review as I try and resolve the situation without making the hotel look bad on review sites like this but to no avail. I wrote to the owners (Britannia) and they did not even respond so I will not be staying with any hotels in there group again. The parking was terrible, I...

Awful, cheap supermarket quality and that was paying £15 per person and this was not the Groupon deal. I really would not recommend their cream tea to anyone who has decent taste buds as you will be so disappointed. No need to say anymore.......just don't waste your money!

We needed to have a few days away from the hell of a recent bereavement. Last stayed here 30+ years ago, We arrived to be greeted by really lovely reception staff, we were early for check in but they sorted our luggage so we could relax. The hotel was packed so we had to take a room in the new...

Probably doesn't help that we had 2 great family visits some 20 years ago, but this hotel isn't what it used to be. That said, there are signs of its former glory, it's comfortable and the staff are great. You might want to avoid the live music, though. And of course eggs don't last well on a hot tray, especially...

Not good, awful room in what can only be described as a basement. Radiator not working, although a plug-in heater was hiding in the cupboard, bathroom reminded me of a visit to hospital. Gym not included (£4 per person extra). Bar stinks of stale beer. Other than location and nice building design (external) this is a very poor hotel and...
