The hotel is well situated within easy walking distance of the town and beach. It has a new outdoor pool. Our room faced the sea with nice view initially it was cold but soon warmed up with a blow heater. The beds were comfortable. There was a walk in shower, the hot water took a while to get through but after that hot. The surrounds of the shower did not look clean. The restaurant was very large with wooden floors and high ceilings. On the evenings we were there it was very noisy and very difficult to hear what was being said. Service in the evenings was very slow. The food was not always hot, but was tasty with good size portions. There was evening entertainment in the restaurant but again difficult to hear. Breakfast was self service, good choice of fruit, yoghurt, cereals, cooked breakfast The bar served a wide variety of drinks, with a happy hour, but a service charge on drinks. The car park is limited and often difficult to get a space. Overall I thought sound attenuation could be improved in the dining room and more staff were required to serve in the evenings.

Dear Happytravellor4243, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry that you were not fully satisfied with your stay. I have checked our records and do not seem to have any complaints made about noise or service during the last couple of weeks while our Holly & Ivy packages have been going. We would always implore our guests that if you are not happy with any certain aspect of your stay to speak with a duty manager at the time so they can address any issue. Please know that feedback such as yours is important to us to help us improve our offering. We hope to be able to welcome you again where we may have the opportunity in changing your opinion of us.. Kind regards Rosie Radwell, Managing Director

Hotel's Favourite
We have just returned from another amazing stay at Marsham court hotel. We have stayed at the hotel for the past 7years for the air show week and very much feel we are returning to be with family, it’s lovely to be remembered by staff especially Kirsty, Matt and Pat and for them to take an interest in our family. Particularly family members who are no longer with us. The hotel goes from strength to strength each year we attend and the renovation work is top notch! Any minor issues are rectified immediately and the £5 credit per day for the bar if you do not have a room clean is brilliant. The only 1 quibble this year is the service charge that is automatically added, completely understand the concept but we did find ourselves not using the bar/food as frequently as previous years. Also being able to see the red arrow pilots was an amazing surprise! Keep doing what your doing and we look forward to seeing you all again next year

We stayed here for 2 nights (1st & 2nd December) for the first time. Can highly recommend this hotel - perfect location for a stroll on the beach (not that we did this as it was too cold) and for the restaurants & bars at night. Really friendly staff who made us feel very welcome & didn't mind us sitting in the bar even once it had shut! If you book direct, you don't have to pay for parking & can include breakfast at the time of booking. Will definitely be going back as soon as possible even if it's just for the excellent breakfast!!

The room was well kept, only thing I would say is it would be nice if there was some small packs of biscuit's with the tea & coffee making. The staff were very attentive & looked after me, some even remembered me from last year.

We attended as a party of about 15 for a training event for a whole day. Everything was very good. The pastries, shortbread, tea and coffee were fine all appearing when expected. The roomand the AV facilities were goo dfor waht we needed although a noise event was setting up next door at one point which kind of was a bit distrcting from our teaching / seminar. The lunchtime food in the restaurant was decent and hearty. All inorder. Reasonable price.

Tom Pask was an absolute delight to deal with. I have never been to a hotel where I have received such top customer service. Well done Tom. He has been outstanding in the way he has dealt with my colleagues and me.

Our stay was fabulous! As a family of 5 it can be hard to find the perfect accommodation! Our room was incredibly spacious. The festive touches were amazing! The trees made the stay extra special. Back to the beds! They were extremely comfy! Our bed was huge! Breakfast was plentiful! Cooked well and delicious.

We have just had a family lunch at the retreat at the Marsham Court Hotel Bournemouth and it was spectacular. If you want to have a Sunday lunch that is relaxed but with perfectly cooked food, great service and the wow factor of a juicy joint of pork with perfect crackling that you can carve at the table, then please bring your whole family here, you’ll all love it. Thank you to everyone at the Marsham court.

My friend and I stayed at this Hotel on a 'Holly and Ivy ' coach break 6/11/-10/11/2023. What a lovely hotel! The staff was all so helpful and kind - a shout out to Matt, M.J James (Jim), Eva, and Jess at reception. Those are only a few of the staff I interacted with, I did not know the names of the rest of them, but they were all kind and helpful, thank you to all. The rooms are nicely looked after by the housekeeping team and kept nice tidy and clean. The food was the very best I have ever had on a coach break (and I have been on more than a few!), hats off to the chef and his team. This is a tip if you are thinking of going there try the canned water you will find in your room's fridge it's called Cano, and see what you think. I would stay there any time I was in Bournemouth and give it 5 out of 5 stars! Jain
