We stayed here for 6 days, 5 nights. It's Very clean. Had all the amenities a family of 4 would need. Owners very friendly. 5 mins from Bournemouth pier and short drive to local supermarkets and all tourist attractions. It was just perfect. I can honestly not find a fault. We would definitely recommend mount lodge for a short trip.

Enjoyed our stay overnight. Enjoyed the breakfast with home cooked bread. Very hospitable couple. Will definately use again. Also seafront only a short bus ride away or walk if you fancy. The area has all the major shops and restaurants along the seafront.

Great breakfast and clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful couple having the hotel (big thank you Tanja and David!!) Location is good, very close to the beach and a beach walk of around 3km takes you to city centre. Nice way of starting the day with a run at the beach.

Melanie and David were very friendly and welcoming and made every effort to ensure we had a good stay at Mount Lodge. Everything was beautifully clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Melanie said she and David were retired and took the hotel on 3 years ago. Running a hotel was something they always wanted to do which has now become possible upon retirement. You can tell that they enjoy what they do as this comes through in the experience you get when staying here. The location is excellent as you can walk down to the beach or the town of Westbourne within a few minutes. There is a nice Italian restaurant called Vesuvui on the beach close by and lots of shops and eateries in the town.
