I stayed for three nights mid week in February. The staff are all polite, approachable, friendly and smartly dressed and a credit to the company. The leisure facilities are good - the medium size pool is clean and attractive and there is a nice sauna too. The price was

Just got back from a 2 night stay with my girlfriend here. The entire downstairs area has been refurbished since last time we stayed and the new bar/ restaurant is great, although it has lost a bit of it's old school charm and character in the process. The location is fantastic,

Dear robhodson, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I understand that you have mixed feelings about your recent stay but I hope it was overall enjoyable. I am happy to let you know that our hotel is under an on-going refurbishment, however not all the rooms are being refurbished at once. Unfortunately, you did not have the experience to stay in one of our recently refurbished rooms, but hopefully you will have the chance in the future, should you wish to visit us again. I am sorry to read that you found our bar prices too high. Our bar tariff is well in line with other hotels that are of a similar standard. We do hope for your future visit, so should you decide to re-visit the area, please do not hesitate to contact our Reservations Team on 01202 298350 for the best rate available. Kindest regards, Yannis Chatzidakis Reception Supervisor

Wow, what can I say, great service, lovely people and great cook, hope to go there again soon. The parking was good, the decor lovely and the prices were very good value for money. Our stay there was a very happy one and we will certainly be returning there very soon.

This is supposed to be a "Dog Friendly" hotel. We asked before booking and were told "Yes, this is a dog friendly hotel and they are welcome." When we arrived and booked in with the dogs we were told that the dogs were only permitted in the rooms and in NO public areas. This is

Dear Nathan G, I think it is safe to assume that you did not enjoy your stay. We are sorry, and we do want all our guests to have an enjoyable stay. So your review is disappointing. We are are 'Dog Friendly', as we allow dogs to stay in bedrooms. Yes we do have a Pet Policy, and this clearly explains that dogs are not permitted in public areas, and the reason is simple. We have diners in public areas, and as mentioned we want all our guests to have an enjoyable experience, so this does mean not to offend anyone while they eat to have a dog near them. The charge is for cleaning, as not matter what pet they do shed hair, and we have to take into consideration any guest that may have an allergy, so the room needs to be cleaned efficiently. I am also sorry about the room issues, and we are in the process of a refurbishment of bedrooms. The room rate that you paid would have reflected your room type. Your feedback is important and your comments are taken seriously. I will say your comment regarding the staff being rude an obnoxious is certainly the very opposite in the feedback that I receive 99% of the time. I do understand that our pet policy upset you, thus meant you did not enjoy your stay. We do have duty managers who are sympathetic and do endevour to try to accommodate all requests, and perhaps if one were sought out, we may have been able to remedy almost all your issues. Regarding the £100, this needs investigating as this is a pre-authorisation not a payment this automatically is 'unfrozen' after 3-4 working days. have you contacted the property direct? Perhaps we will be able to welcome you again, and we will be happy to look after you in the future and perhaps in our newly refurbished rooms or similar if you're bringing your dog.

Can i check in early
Hi George! Check in time is from 14h00. Early check in, could only be an option if the room is unoccupied and ready, but we can not guarantee it. Still, and if conditions are met we could help you with that. See you Soon!

They aren’t next to the beach although it’s a beautiful view to it. But it’s on the hill. It’s a bit of a walk. Parking in town centre is unbelievable expensive even out of season.. something like £7 for 2 hrs.. crazy. But it’s nice hotel where you can leave the car and the town is 15 min away. We had our pram with the little man :) x
