My best friend and I had dinner at the Nici on Sunday as an early Christmas get together. We both had been wanting to try it based on posts we had seen on Instagram and the place did not disappoint! The welcome was warm, food was excellent, drinks were great (including my mocktail- best one I’ve had this pregnancy!) and the prices were fitting for the quality of food. I highly recommend the chocolate mousse dessert. I look forward to visiting again during lighter hours so that we can enjoy the beach view!

This place have just got it spot on. Perfect combination of luxury and attentive, but low-key, relaxed service. The staff really are lovely and made our stay feel special. They spotted my mother’s broken foot and suggested a move to a ground floor room before we had even thought about it. Everything was just made super easy. The new spa is wonderful, as is the view of the pool from the stunning terrace. And 5 mins walk to a gorgeous sandy beach. The two bedroomed suites were exceptionally well kitted out with lots of special little touches in the kitchenette (which was actually pretty substantial). Beds were super comfy too. We’ll definitely be back and really hope it stays this good!

A 5 star luxury hotel, boutique feel with funky designs. Some really nice touches in the room. A really nice spa and a heated outdoor pool. But a limited menu and average customer service. What a shame.

Visited for dinner on Saturday,28th October 2023 with a former colleague and had a disappointing time. However, our concerns were quickly addressed by the Food & Beverage Director after our visit. We had however already decided to give it a second chance and booked Sunday Lunch for three of us on Remembrance Sunday, 12th November 2023. We were warmly welcomed on our arrival and the bar table service was polite and efficent. After about ten minutes we were taken through to our table, where we proceeded to order our lunch. Two of us had three courses and one of us had a two course lunch. The food was well presented and delicious which was accompanied by efficent but yet unobtrusive service in a well presented Restaurant. Therefore in conclusion our faith has been restored and the lunch was great value for money too. The complementary bottle of red wine from the Food & Beverage Director was also a lovely touch, which just highlights the fact that they do care about peoples experiences and comments. We chose the Nici for our 25th wedding anniversary because we wanted the best Bournemouth had to offer. We had such a relaxing few days there earlier this week and so it was no surprise reading today that this hotel is The Sunday Times Seaside Hotel of the Year for 2023.

Really sad to write this review - it's a tale of two halves. Our stay at The Nici was exceptional, beautiful hotel, great facilities and lovely staff. We left raving about the place and couldn't wait to come back. However! We booked valet parking with the hotel and some time after, we received a notification to say that we had recieved a parking ticket while it was with the valet. I've emailed, called, spoke to multiple people and while every time I call I'm reassured someone will respond that day, I'm still yet to get a response. I feel very much that while we were there, they couldn't do enough for us but now we've left, they can't even be bothered to help with an issue that happened under their care. I'm so disappointed as this was one of the most wonderful weekends away that we've had. It's sad that it's been tarred with with terrible after service and a bill for a parking ticket that wasn't our fault. Moral of the story - be very careful if you choose to use their valet parking. …

I wanted a quiet meal alone after a tough day at work. I seldom travel with business but when I do I just want a good bed and a decent meal. I was not staying at the hotel but a colleague recommended the restaurant. I was not disappointed! The fish and chips were outstanding and the service simply wonderful. Hotel staff really friendly on arrival. We arrived early to make use of the gym and then follow onto spa facilities, must say the decor was stunning. Sauna, steam, jacuzzi, large pool, all free to use alongside the price of a basic room! We ended up falling asleep on the pool day beds, which were comfy. Cannot fault anything our room, again decor was bouji, girlfriend loved it. Restaurant was good and staff so nice. Great value for money when the price of a hotel room includes such amazing facilities. 10/10 and would definitely come back.

This was our second visit to The Nici . We enjoyed our sea view suite (301) which was very comfortable and well-equipped. Our large king-size bed was superb. Great views from the balcony overlooking the fantastic outdoor pool which was heated to 30 degrees! We had lunch in the restaurant with friends, the 3 course set lunch was very good value. The ambience and vibe in the lounge and bar area is great. The decor makes you feel that you're actually in South Beach, Miami. We had a very relaxing evening in the bar. The staff in the hotel were professional, courteous and very friendly. Our breakfast in the restaurant was great, with a good variety of options to please everybody. If you're looking for a luxury hotel with a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, this is the hotel for you - we will be back!…
