Is the car park secure?
No more or less so than most hotels in Bournemouth. IF you have a flashy expensive car best to hope you can get a space in the newer parking area that is out of sight of the road. BUT for many reasons the town is not what it was & property & personal security is much more uppermost in my mind on the few occasions I now visit this once delightful resort.

What is the dress code for dinning at night!!!!
I believe smart casual is the normal dress code, when we stayed the restaurant was under redevelopment so we did not eat in the replacement rooms as they were quiet underwhelming! cheers

You have to be a bit careful here. We booked 6 months in advance and paid extra for a deluxe seaview. Unfortunately we were given a poky little room with cobwebs in the windows, a window that didn't open, a rattling door and a filthy bathroom-we have previously stayed in standard doubles here that were bigger and more luxurious. The reception staff were very unhelpful but the manager moved us to another room after a couple of nights and refunded 3 nights of extda supplement. I believe that one of the reception staff allocated this inferior room to us because I upset her previously when I expressed the opinion that the hotel was not the same since particular staff had left. It was a special occasion for us and was spoilt by the unprofessional pettiness of one member of staff. If in doubt, speak to David Bailey, the manager.
