This is an excellent family run hotel in a good location. We were here for three nights DBB as part of a small socially distanced group on a coach. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome, all covid 19 measures were in place and managed well, cases taken to our room door for us. All the rooms, public and private, were very clean, it felt safe and comfortable. Everyone in the hotel was very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them and the food was excellent with a good choice to choose from. We all enjoyed our stay, would certainly return again and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Thank you, just wish we had found you before!
Great to feel so welcome at a hotel despite the difficulties they face to keep trading through these times. Breakfast was fab. Bedroom was large spotlessly clean with a view of the sea. Location could not be better. Less than 5 mins to the beach. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
Excellent holiday, staff kind and friendly looking forward to staying there again.Had a nine day stay Hotel and service as good as the weather, food was excellent would recommend the Barnsley Chop to anyone!
!!Dont let the 2 star rating fool you, believe the 4+ star reviews!! We were veey sceptical before our stay due to THH only being 2 stars, but the raving reviews on here and other booking sites are not wrong! The reception staff are very welcoming and friendly as soon as we walked through the door, and met all our demands ( !! ;) ) with a smile on their face. Nothing was too mich trouble. Family rooms are spacious and well kept - the walk in wardrobe in Room 9 was an unexpected treat! Definitely would recommend a room on a higher floor with a sea/side sea view. The only niggles I would mention is the lack of full length mirror in the room. Breakfast was all freshly cooked to order, and was fantastic! Again, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The hotel is in a great location, around a 10 minute walk to town/main pier and a few minutes to the beach. The area is lovely and quiet and a nice escape from the busier areas. One other slight complaint is the wifi in the hotel is not very good, and you cant access it at all from the higher floors. The hotel felt very clean, and COVID19 measureswere in place and really well managed, we felt very safe. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely returning to THH if we come to stay in Bournemouth again.…
We stayed at this hotel for 8 days and had a brilliant time. This is a family run hotel, the staff are friendly and very helpful. Hand gel is available in the reception area, the lounge and the dining room. Temperature taken on arrival, all the staff are continually cleaning and doing a fantastic job of keeping the guests safe. The food is fantastic with buffet (served by staff) for breakfast followed by a cooked breakfast. Staggered breakfast times are in place and guests are spread out in the dining room. A wide range of choices on evening meal too and very tasty. The food here never disappoints even to the pickiest of eaters. Overall a fantastic time in Bournemouth at the tower house. Felt safe during the current times and would not hesitate to stop at this hotel again.
