Me and two other friends stayed in room 306. It had a double bed and a single bed in. We were prewarned about this before we booked which we were ok about. Also parking charges applied which we were told before we booked as well. The room was a decent size for us and had a bath with a shower... More

we had booked the room through a booking website and the cost was £45 including the breakfast for both of us, on arrival we had to swipe the card the room was booked on which we found unusual because we were going to pay cash, on reading the small print the charge was going to be taken from the card... The Croham was a base for us while my husband and I were in Bournemouth visiting the University with our daughter. This was described by Booking.com as ‘one of our top picks’, ‘elegant’ and with ‘bright and airy bedrooms’ and given 6/10 overall score by reviewers. Believe me, this is not how I would describe it! I hadn’t read TripAdvisor... More

Have to leave room key with staff when going out. On return with two friends who wanted to come in for a drink in our room, male member of staff refused the key until they left. We argued they were allowed to come in for a drink as they weren't staying and no where does it state you cannot have... More

I stayed here in August for 2 stints of Monday to Friday for business. Well located but thats about it really. I had a room at the top of the hotel, very hot so had to leave the windows open. The window catch was not very secure. The bathroom was basically a toilet opposite a shower cubicle. Now onto the... More

Everything that others say and some more! Very poor mattresses, essentially sleeping on the divan. The room and bathroom were tiny, room smelt terrible,no 'extras' to make you feel better about staying here. The walls are, indeed, paper thin and you might as well be in a dormitory. The breakfast staff seemed to be doing us a favour, little choice on... More

Poor, dirty walls, handles loose and missing and falling off doors and drawers, damaged furniture, shower ran out of water. scruffy but helpful staff. Wifi £2.90 per day and you have to pay to park inside the hotel car park. The only partially redeeming feature is that the breakfast was reasonable. The hotel was £50 a night, I expected better... Nice reception area, and room was nice at first glance. On closer inspection, walls were grubby and needed a wash down, headboard was too small for the bed, no pillow protectors, glass shelf was precariously balanced in the bathroom, needed refixing to the wall, mouldy ceiling with a grubby ceiling light. Only 1 bedside table and only 1 wobbly latch... More
